clear coat for copper?

Hi,
I'm currently putting together a pipe mod, and after cutting the pipe I quickly polished it to see what it would look like. It looks great, but after a couple days the colour changes back. Could anyone recommend some sort of sealant or clearcoat to keep it nice and shiny?

Here is the link on the Nikolas lacquer. I have used the stuff and it is really good. Dont know how well it will hold up to repeated handling though. Hope this helps.

Speedy metal polish works great! Once you bring it up to the desired shine, you just wipe it with a damp towel once a week or so.

Paint Remover.

The hygroscopic nature of PG and VG and the fact they are closely related to alcohols will work to undermine the integrity of a paint job.

Let it Cure. (years if necessary)

Thanks for the info guys. The speedy metal polish stuff looks great. It says it uses carnauba wax as part of the sealant. Do you guys think a automotive paint carnauba wax would work?
