Clear coatings on metals?

I was wondering if anyone has any info on conductivity if you were to clear coat a copper/brass/aluminum/palladium/SS mod or whatnot?

Specifically if there are types of clearcoats, and what affects they might have on voltage dropping etc...

Do you intend to coat the threaded surfaces, or just the outer or visible and exposed surfaces? If you coat the tube and cap threads, or any internal surfaces, that may serve to prevent conductivity between those parts.

I've never heard of a conductive clear coat, and if not conductive, the effect would be to totally stop the current flow, and you'll not be able to vape if you cover any threads anywhere on your mod. ALL threads are part of the circuit.

If you just want to coat the outer surfaces, be sure to mask off all threading.
