I feel responsible for creating another confusion about this SS vtube on ECF.
That's why I am posting this.

I sent a simple pm to Rob (Apollo ecig) today to clear up all unanswered questions.
He even replied with his phone number so that I could talk to him 1-1 over the phone.
Of course I won't disclose it so please don't ask his number by pm.

First, there will be two special versions:
- Stanless Steel
- Copper with Chrome coat.
Those are two completely different materials.
Unless some unfortunate incident caused by chinese supplier, Apollo ecig will
keep their specs as posted on their website.

Second, those two version wil have
- upgraded 510 connection.
- improved bottom cap.
Those improvements will cover the weakest parts of vtube. (or lavatube).
I even watched youtube video about one guy ordered 30+ dollars worth materials to fix his atty connection & bottom cap. So, at least no worries there with these special editions since top & bottom of special edition vtube won't be plastcis.

After his sincere & detailed explanation, I came to the conclusion that Apollo ecig is also a trust worthy ecig vendor here on ECF. Again it's my persional opinion, but I know I can.

Ordered the mini in stainless on the 10th to add to my full black one. Adding a Full SS, Full Silver, Mini Red and Mini Black today (the 20% off code is so nice! And Income tax Check is here! WOOT!)

I really hope he will get replacement bottom caps...a SS one on my black units would be sweet!

Says on the page that it's a limited 500-unit run, but the question I have is, will they do another batch later on? I'd love to grab one of the SS units, but don't know if I'll be able to afford one right now.

I'm liking the idea of copper and chrome, too. Wish they'd do one in brass, with nickel or chrome end caps!

EDIT: On second thought, I may just wait anyway. Was looking at the pics, and the tubes have branding all over them. I could live with that on the cheapie plastic units, but not on the nice metal ones.

btw.. how much are they going to charge for the SS version?

Any other changes to this Lavatube SS clone that would bring it closer to the likes of the Provari?

On Apollo's site it comes to $63.96 for the SS kit. And for the unit by itself, it comes to $47.96 Both of these prices are with using the 20% off coupon code 'reddit'

I think the coupon expires on 3/25 so better hurry. These are good prices. I paid more for original LT than for this new SS version.

As far as any other changes to the unit. Well the end caps are not plastic. And another complaint that I've seen is it still having the same 2.5 amp limit. Which is fine with me because I use CE2's between 3.5 and 4.0V.
