Clearomizer and Provari Questions

Hello everyone. I'm pretty new to vaping. Finally managed to get completely away from analogs.

I have moved to using standard XpressOmizer Clearomizers on a passthru. I ordered a Provari, should be here in a day or so and wanted to know if I can use clearomizers on the Provari. When I went to reorder a few more, I noticed this in the XpressOmizer details, "WARNING: Do NOT use with high voltage systems. Using on a high voltage device will void warranty and is NOT recommended."

I also ordered a couple Ego Elegance Clearomizers which do not have that warning in the details.

My question is can I use either of these on the Provari? Or is there a clearomizer (prefer a larger capacity) that you would recommend?

Last question, is there a way to clean clearomizers?

Welcome , and you can use them on the Provari , just at lower voltages . But I think the built in software won't allow you to use them on too high of voltage . So your probably good to go . I use some Lr carto type tanks on my Provari , all the time @4.3 volts . Haven't popped any yet .

i have a provari and i use clearomizers (ce3) when i test a new flavor
depending on how the ressistace of the clearo or carto is you just adjust the voltage

About 5-10 seconds on followed by 5-10 seconds off. Repeat until there is little or no smoke coming from the coil and the coil looks clean.

Yes, you can use Clearo's on a Provari. Just watch your voltage. As a rule of thumb, for voltage I add 2 points to the resistance. So, if you got the standard resistance Xpressomizers (2.8-3.0 ohm) I would start with 4.8-5.0 volts and increase/decrease the voltage to suit your taste; With LR Expressomizers (2.0-2.2 ohm) I would start with 4.0-4.2 volts.

Clearomizers are single coil setups, even an old v1 ProVari like mine can run them all day long. 3ohm will give you the best adjustability to dial in your perfect vape, but you can use low resistance ones if you want, they'll just give you less control. At 3ohm every .1 voltage adjustment gives about a .2 watt difference, at 1.5ohm the same adjustment gives you an almost .45 watt difference.
