Clearomizer Choice Advice

I like the SLB brand. They have only a single wick going down each side, unlike the 4x4 or 8 wick versions that I'd used previously. You can get them at empire mods or Electronic Ash. They come with unflavored pg on the wicks and atty to keep em fresh.

I bought 2 5 packs of CE3s last week. Loving them. I've got about 7 of them in rotation right now with different flavors. Tons of vapor, and great flavor production. I've not had a dry hit from any of them. They even handle my 70/30 V/P juice. I hear from Lord Davron that if you trim the wicks like he shows in his review video, they'll even handle 100% VG.

My fluxo's are handling boba's bounty okay but certainly not as well as I would like they are burning out in a few fills even with cleaning them

I see no wicks on my CE3 XLs. Are they inside the bottom housing?

What prevented my CE3s from getting the VG in them was the clearance between the outer tubing and the inner base. Just too thin for good VG flow.

The wicks are there but are impossible to see 'specially after they are filled. They are inside the bottom and stick through each of the holes. they only stick out maybe 1/16th of an inch. I vape 50/50 juice in mine and they work really well for me.
A few drops of distilled water will thin your VG juice enough to wick well.

As mentioned down thread, very short wicks at the bottom. If you watch this video with Lord Davon reviewing them, you'll see where they are when one is disassembled.

Wow. That is one incredibly attractive man!

As much as I love the CE3 XL, I have been recommending the Kanger T0 (Kanger Bottom Coil Clearomizer) over them. There is something so special about not needing to fill with a syringe, that just makes the vape seem better. In all seriousness, the Kanger T0 has replaced the CE3 XL for me. It is almost the same vape, without the hassle.

As well, there is a new version of the Kanger T2 out, and from what I understand, the mouthpiece issue had been eliminated. I just picked up 2 from ESmokerOnline this weekend, and will be testing them throughout the week.

Now, I'm not knocking the CE3 XL. They do still kick some serious ...., and are more cost effective, than the Kanger.

You shouldn't get any leak if you fill it upside down, pushing the air out the bottom rather than trying to push the liquid out to make room.

Sorry I wan't clear. AFTER they're filled, a small puff of air or a light squeeze will "prime the pump" and get juice into the coil.

I'm using the Kanger T2. It is also called the EGO 2.4 ce4+ cc clearomizer. The tips are new now. No problem with breakage. Has good draw, taste, etc. Also they are rebuildible. I had to take a small screw driver and unscrew one part. It came out easy but another one came apart easier. They are the best clearomizer I have used to date.

I just tried the Clearo Screw Tank from SMOKteck at My Vapor Store, so far the very best wick tank I have ever used. I recommend these if you like clearos. It is big tho holds 6 ml, but fill in am and you are good for all day. brnk
