It's okay to get a regular 510. Typically I use a LR 510 bridged, but the bridge-less is fine as well - some say it's better. All the info that our sweet mini leopard is giving you is really good info. In my experience, atty's really give a "close as you can get" to the flavor/vapor perspicacity. You'll know when it's time to add a few more drops because the taste changes and it can get harsh if you're not attentive. So many ways to puff n stuff! :)

You don't have to do anything special with a bridgeless. It's the same as the regular kind, only the steel mesh bridge (and sometimes the wick) is remove, leaving only the coil and the reservoir cup. Sometimes there is a metal plate with holes across the top, but I've never used that kind.

The method of dripping with a bridgeless atty is basically the same as a regular atty, but you have to be fast. You are dripping directly onto the coil - think of dripping water onto the coil of an electric stove. Instant sizzle. The pros with using a bridgeless atty is more intense flavor and it can be easier to clean; the cons are there is no mesh to hold the liquid, so you have to drip more often and (in my experience YMMV) it’s easier to get a dry hit.

These are solely my opinions, please don't flame me.

In your opinion, is there a difference between the 306 and the 510 atomizer?

Is the drip shield thingy used with a 306 so you can use a regular drip tip?

Yes, I'm just full of questions >.<

the only issue i'm having is I kinda have to go tank system since I'm primarily a clove smoker....sorry to hijack but anyone know any cartomizer tank systems that could handle clove? and I guess i'm a dunce but I don't get what is dripping?

There are people here more qualified than me to answer your question. As best I know, if you are worried about melting or cracking a tank, you should get a glass (pyrex) tank.

An atomizer is the most basic setup, and from what I hear, gives you some of the best flavor from your juice. It is a small wick and coil that you directly drip your juice onto, insert your favorite drip tip and vape. It is a little bothersome as you drip a few drops, vape, drip a few more....

anyway, I hope that helps.

I use them both. I've been told the 306 is a warmer vape, but I'm not terribly observant about that kind of thing. Drip - taste - plume, I's be vaping!

The drip tip for a 306 fits on the outside, so it is a drip tip and a "drip shield" in one. There weren't (or I hadn't heard of) drip shields when I started dripping. The shields are for 510 attys and go on the outside (to catch extra drips, like the 306 tips), then you put a 510 drip tip in the drip shield top. I've never bothered getting one. My dripping is a bit messy. My hands shake a little and my 306 tip has a small crack somewhere, so my dripping ritual is: drip, vape, wipe the sides. It's no big deal. I find ritualistic behavior soothing.

You will want a glass or metal tank since I believe clove cracks plastics. IBtanked has some nice glass ones as does Phiniac. I just heard about a SMOK Pyrex DCT that I am tempted to try but I don't have any reviews on that one to go by.

I wish I could find a carto that provides a taste as good as my nova or iclear30, but I haven't yet. It's too bad because I really want to use my Kir Fanis tank...

That why everyone says taste is so subjective. I like carto tanks much more than novas. (I haven't tried an iClear since I no longer buy anything but glass.)

im a big fan on the smoktek SC 1.7 ohm single and double hole tank cartos. the 3 holes are good, but they flood easy with anything but 100%vg. the 2 holes will flood too, but not as bad. really digging the singles though. i also like the smoktek mega eGo cartos for when i just want to toss my PV in a pocket and NEVER worry about any leaking. they hold a metric asston of juice, so i can go a day or 2 before a top off. they clean well too, and ive only had a few that werent worth resurrecting after a washing.

they only problem i have found with the tanks is, the locking smoktek tanks dont play well with certain types of eGo thread collars, so i had to modify tehe collars a bit to allow them to seat. small price to pay for never having to worry about carto slipage.

If you did it with a 306 I'd be incredibly impressed.

IMPRESSION is my middle name! I had no choice ... drip tip dribbled to debauchery finding it's way to the underworld where all is lost until the Dyson reclaims indiscriminately. Anyway, cartomizers are good. I can taste the poly filler and tanks to my sweet small leopard (pun intended), I think I have some tanks that might solve the capacity problem. I have a bottom feeder on order and some more expensive junk, but I won't go into that right now because what you're doing is the correct path (i think hahaha) --- Vape what does it for you!

EEEKKK! What happened to my tank?

yeah i've read enough to know better :) waiting on my vivi nova from fasttech and the metal case from health cabin
was just wondering if anyone knew of a cartomizer tank that was all metal....i keep my ego in my shirt pocket at work and most people assume the cartomizer is a pen whereas the evod they stare at

really got the 510 tanks from my mother-in-law but figured i'd snag one for myself for other juices.
