Hi,

I am thinking of tyring new staff on my ego 900mah battery. Up to now I have been using LR dual coils cartomizer and I am happily enough. Of course, other than these have't tried anything else.
So, I am thinking of clearomizer and giantomizer. What are their main differencies, do they come on NR and LR as well?

Sorry, if this question has been answered before, I probably need a compare guide on carto/clear/giantomizers...

Thank you Balthezar for the link.
So, if I understand correct, it is a matter of three factors: ml volume, resistance, and design (being visible or invisible). Where giantomizer means that has large capacity and clearomizer that is visible. Please, correct me if I am wrong.
I am not sure if clearomizers and giantomizers come with dual coils though.

So, what would you (or anyone else) get for a 900mah ego-T battery?

I never used a giantomizer but I understand that it is similar in design with the Clearomizer and other CE2 type cartos.

The CE2 Clearomizer is a top coil carto that has no filling. There is a wick that goes into the tank and brings the juice up to the coil. You can get Clearos in many resistances from 2.4 up to 3.5 ohm. This may seem high (2.4 as LR?) but I found that a 2.4-2.6 ohm Clearo provides more vapor and bigger TH than a 2.0 ohm Boge or a 1.5 ohm Smoktech DC. They can also be easily cleaned and will usually last for a few weeks.

The Clearos are great cartomizers, but are not without problems. The plastic tube was prone to cracking around the base resulting in leaks. The new Ultimate edition Clearos use a different type of plastic and I have not cracked one in the past 3-4 months that I've used these. The can also suffer from poor wicking, resulting in burnt taste. This can be avoided by modding the top seal(s). It can be as simple are removing all top seals and only using the middle one or it can involve cutting larger openings for the wicks.

I use a 2.4 ohm Clearo on my 750 mAh Riva. For your eGo I would go with a 2.4 ohm if you like hotter vapor or a 2.6-2.8 ohm if you like your vapor cooler.

You are correct but the giantomizers have a window to see the juice level.

What would I get? Some Boge 2.0ohm cartomizers. I don't care for the clearos or the giantomizers. Too much tinkering for a subpar vaing experience. Boge will always blow both of these away when it comes to vapor, flavor, and TH.

I use smoktech dual coil cartos, and have never had a problem, they can last 2-3 weeks without cleaning, as long as you don't let them get dry. I usually top mine off when they start to lose vapor or taste. I think these and boges are the favorites around here. And I believe you can get either one for less than $2. Just my :2c:
