Nothing happens on either of my batteries. When I check the ohms on my VAMO it says 9.9. Is it junk? It only lasted a week. Vision CE4

Yes I tried it on an eGo but I think that might be dead too. I'm waiting for another eGo to charge.
Yep, if its reading 9.9 ohms its dead. 
Unfortunately some of our vaping toys last a long time and other times they last a short time.
You could try cleaning it but at 9.9 ohms its not likely to come down in ohms low enough to continue using it.

I'm not ready to start rebuilding yet. I would have posted this in new members but I have too many posts to start a thread. I guess I'll just throw it in a drawer and come back to it another day.
9.9 ohms means the coil appears to be open. I always keep a regular cartomizer around filled with juice. If I have a problem with a device, I slip that on & retry to vape. If that vapes good, the problem is the coil. If it doesn't work either, I try the carto on another battery. If it works on the 2nd battery, I put the original carto/atty/vivi on the 2nd battery. If it works, there is a problem with the original battery. If it doesn't the carto/atty/viwi, etc is bad. It's called double substitution troubleshooting.
Now, I've had both carto's work on the different battery, but not on the original. I'm kinda having that problem now. I think one of my batteries has the center pin pushed down to far. I just haven't tried to pull it up 'cause I've got a coil working on both of my units. I don't wanna break something right now.

Ya I tried another device on this battery and it didn't work. What are the odds I killed a clearomizer and a battery at the same time? It might just need a charge. I'm going to charge when the one I got on now is done.
You might want to try gently lifting the center post on your battery, just going around a bit with small screwdriver, in case you're not getting a good connection. Make sure it's off when you do this. It's pretty common to have it sink in a bit when cleaning or if a carto is screwed down tightly. It's pretty unlikely that both the carto and battery died at the same time. Good luck!
The eGo battery wouldn't charge so I lifted the center post. I ended up taking it all the way out. Is there supposed to be a wire attached to the center post? It looks like it has solder on the end. Looks like I junked a battery and a clearomizer today.
Yeah, lifting it just a bit either works or not. If the post is out you've disconnected it. Hope your Vamo and other Ego battery are OK with a different clearo/carto.
Yeah, you don't really want to LIFT it out of the device, you want to kinda nudge it "up" a bit. I use an old dart and it works fine. Just kinda stick the tip in and GENTLY GENTLY GENTLY nudge it up a bit.
Sometimes its as simple as the coil getting moved off center. Had it happen yesterday. Took a toothpick & manipulated it a little & am using it right now. YMMV.
