Clearomizer vs Cartomizer

I have been using the ego-t for a long time a still love it. Lately though I have been using a CE2 rev.5 in both clear and metal. I like the clear since it lets me see how much liquid I have left, and it is easier to fill because I can see how much is in there. The only problem is they can leak, so I have been putting glue around the bottom. Haven't had one crack yet, but because of the leaking, I have just switched to the metal one's. You can't see how much liquid is left, but there is not problem with leaking or possible cracking.

I am using my batts from my ego-t, and picked up a 510 cone. It looks nicer with the cone, and is more protected, but for some reason the clear ce2s are just a tad too fat to fit inside the cone, the metal ones fit perfectly. I guess I could "stretch" out the sides of the upper part of the cone to accommodate the clearomizer, but I'm just going to stick to the metal.

I also tried the dual coil, and it has filler! It's ok, but not much of a difference with my setup than a single coil. Broke the first one trying to take the filler out to clean it and pulled one of the coils out almost straight -haha --so it is basically a dripper now. I always hated the carts with filler, so I am just going to stick with the ego-t and CE2 rev. 5.

I know you prefer the CE2 rev. 5 but just so you know, you don't have to take the filler out to clean them. You can just rinse them out under hot water until the filler is white again, blow them out and let them dry. With my setups, the duel coils are so much better than a single coil.

dual coil is my favorite although i am here to buy genisis...
dual coil got more vapor and is better than anything else from china,shame that clear ones look so horrible after day of use...

i have tried both dual coils and ce2s, for some reason the dual coils make my throat hurt, i went back to the ce2s, smooth draw. And the only other problem is that since i vape all day, the dual coils on lasted a week for me.

Pammers...I've been using Cartomizers : deejStuff eLiquid, The Apocalypse can wait... for awhile now without any cracking. They aren't exactly clear because they have a filler material in them but you can still see how much juice is in them. I've been real happy with them so far.

You can file down or expand the cone by pushing and twisting a pair of of long nose pliers in the small end to make it fit.

I've noticed that the wick in the clearo's doesn't do an awesome job of fighting the force of gravity, so if your eGo sits for long enough the fluid will tend to drain away from the coil. Try tilting it just enough to get some fluid on the heating element, but don't overdo it. Best of luck!
