I wonder, though, if bigger does equal better in this regard. 10ml is a lot! I agree the design looks fab!

I agree. I like the size of the 2ml.. looks perfect for me, but at less than half the price... just didn't make sense to buy the smaller ones!

They're using the XL CE2's in tall tank mods and gravity is laughing. :p I am so tempted to get that short/fat tank...but will hold off...need to see some reviews. Anyone found any?

OK missy! Mine is here. Now how do I fill this thing???

Hehe. Don't laugh at me ya goob! :p

I bought the 10ml (shanB's)
It looks really cool.. But I don't know how to open it!!

Sent from my pod

Take out the whole rubber stopper, fill it almost to the ceramic cup, then put the stopper back in. :) Watch that video I posted up there, at about 7 minutes in, that will help you. :)

REVIEW:

(OK, please keep in mind, I watched no videos, nor read any directions.)

I ordered ShanB's 10ml tank MOD and received it in record time. I think it only took 2 days to get here. It was packed well, but I wished there had been directions, as I was not sure how to even open it, let alone use or fill it. (thank you Miss Bianca, for helping me get the top off!)

Since the tank is 10ml, but the opening to the atty sits about half way down, it seemed logical that I should not fill it all the way up.. or how would it fire? So I decided to fill it with 5mls. Unfortunately, I was not careful while pouring my juice in, and filled the ceramic cup with juice too. There was no way to suction out the offending extra juice, so I tried to blow it out and hope it wicks away. It also is top heavy, so I suggest you put it in a holder to fill (small jar, cup, etc). The top went on easy enough, and I pushed it on trying not to spill any juice.

The first draw was a bit airy, but lots of vapor. I also realized it was gurgling quite a bit, so I removed the tank and tried to blow out the atty through the hole in the top. That helped, but I had alternating vapes. One would be smooth, then the next would be weak and gurgling. Not a whole lot of flavor, but nothing burnt or nasty.

I had it hooked up to my Silver Bullet, so I didn't worry about it leaking or filling up more (It was upright) Yet when I went to pick it up again, I found the juice had leaked all down the side over my Bullet. yuck.. I hate sticky. I took it into my lab, cleaned it, poured out some of the juice (to about 4mls) replaced the top (this time noticing the slots in the top and the indents and remembering hearing they should be lined up) After I reattached the tank to my Bullet I was rocking it now! Big clouds of vapor, no gurgling, and I was getting smooth clean tasteful flavor. No burnt taste, no problems wicking.. it seemed perfect!

Back to typing up my original thoughts. I paused to take a vape, and the atty has a heavy full gurgle. Oh no! I set it back down, typed a few more minutes and took another 'toot'. This time the atty is completely flooded. I think I need a straw.

At this point I have decided I must have filled it incorrectly, or am doing SOMETHING wrong. I can't imagine it should be acting this badly, so I am pausing my review to go read and see what the heck is going on! I have to stop anyway.. my Bullet is covered in juice again.

To be continued....

This may be a silly question lbug but are you laying it down when you put it down or are you standing it upright? I find mine will all get flooded if I lay my pv with the tank on it's side. I always have to
Keep mine upright when I pit it down or the same think you are having problems with happens to me.

Not silly at all lil'O! I have it on a Silver Bullet which is a short fat sturdy mod, it stands upright without any problems, so the tank is upright.

I did just watch the video, and had previously pushed my 'stopper' on tighter. I realized it would go down further. That has helped somewhat, it's not leaking all down the side. however, I am finding that it is collecting small amounts of juice down in the atty connector. When I remove the Tank, and clean that out, then the gurgling improves, and it goes back to 'vaping like a champ'. My guess at this point after watching the video (and it's pure speculation), is there may be a small leak at the atty connector. I think I have sealed off the ceramic cup, and when cleaned, it vapes fine.. before slowly filling with juice again.

I'm going to email ShanB and see what she says. Perhaps she may have a better idea of what's going on.

I'll report back.

When I sent her a message I never got a responce either. I have another ideaasto whats going on with your tank though. I had the same thing happened to mine, and then I realized I has left the little silicone top for the CE2 off, when I put back her carto case over the top, so it was flooding like crazy. Once I put the silicone top back on the CE2, then put the casing over it to make the mouth piece, haven't had problems since. So maybe that's causing it? Hard to help without visuals yanno? lol

I should say, I got her Mod as well, so that's what I'm referring to! :D

Sub, it seems to be a problem with the vacuum formed from using a DT on those vortexes. If you try leaving the tip it came with on overnight, it shouldn't leak on you. I'm gonna buy a bunch when they come 510 threaded and make shorty attys out of them. 5 attys for $12. I tried them the way they come and aside from being too fat to fit the PCC, they taste weird to me. I think it's the plastic inner tube. I'm gonna take that out and replace the outer tube with tubes cut off of dead cartos. I'm hoping since I really like the vape on a CE2 and regular attys are currently giving me fits, this will be a good alternative. Cost effective too. :D

yep... having a hard time without visual aides

Any pictures of what you mean? Or what the part is suppose to look like?
I did increase the (or rather DECREASE the leak) when I secured the part with the notches on better. That helped a lot.. but it still has a slow leak. After watching the vid, I thought maybe the glue she used didn't make a solid seal. But if there is something else I can try first.. be glad to!

Thanks for your help!!

Sure I can do photos. Where is the leak located? At the bottom, where the connection to the battery is? Or is it leaking out of the middle of the CE2, as if it got into the cup and dripped down?

I noticed on her page, she said you could replace the CE2 when it burns out, so I wonder if maybe she doesn't glue them anymore, and it's just tension?
