Well Got vapes had a good deal so I ordered and got yesterday 2 boxes clear not tinted 3.0 regular 510 and 808;I love them!! I shoud have got the xl's but its all good.I had no prob with filling as there was only the top piece to remove the next piece down was the one with the holes to fill thru.I think some people are taking that part out filling then putting it back in.Seems to be some confusion as I have seen other ce2 that do have a very thin disk in the middle but the ones I got don't have them though the instruction card says they do?! I use heavy VG juice and have had no problems with wicking or leakage. The taste is great and no burn taste till the carto is 'bout empty which is so easy to see now. I will use regular attys for tasting juices but for vaping I'm going to be sticking with these clear, flux whichever.Oh I'm using these on 5 volt and tryed on 3.7 too;both are great...Just to add the r5 are the same as the r4 no diff that Ive seen. Also the syringe and map mods being sold now are imho a waste of money with the xl clear ce2s you have almost the same capacity and they don't fall apart like what happens to alot of the syringe mods I'm hearing about.Unless you can make your own save your money.I saw the map selling for $29.00!!! and it only holds 5 mls. I;ve been a dripper and I am just as satisfied with the taste and amount of vapor I get.....

I have the utmost respect for my fellow modders but people need to understand what they're getting. MAP = MostAngryPirate. That's the username of the guy making them. It is a clear tube with two delrin caps that are drilled out to hold a CE2 and a portion of the CE2's original tube to hold the cup+ring and a drip tip. If you buy one, you're paying quite a premium for $.50 worth of product plus the cost of the CE2.

Same goes for syringe mods. I've made tons of them. Syringes are $.30/ea.

Clearomizers are slightly improved CE2s with a clear tube. They are really the best bang for your buck if you're not making the mods yourself.

If you really want something different, consider a set-up like the Ato-Miser at Nhaler. Making your own "atomizers" now that is different. Hell, track down some nichrome and wicks and you can save even more. The kits are pretty damn expensive but if you watch his video and check out some of the modder's threads, you can DIY it on the cheap.

IA I also have a ton of respect for you on this forum, but to me the MAP is worth the price. I do not have the capability to make this nor do I have the time so to me it is a worthwhile investment to my continued PV pleasure.

OK,whats the difference between the fluxomizers and the clearomizers and those small colored clear ones?I havent tried any of them and Im going to wait and see what everyone thinks and get some opinions.I totally cant splurge right now,if it wasnt for you guys I probably wouldnt be vaping anything.Thank you for helping and keeping me going.BUT!Im just dying to hear about them.Just give your opinions and tell me about the different ones.So I can live vicariously through you.I hate not keeping up on things,so just tell me all about them so I can see and understand how they work.I just want info! That would be great! Please and Thank you!

Hey Keyz...I just got some for the 808.. I will send two of them to you on Monday for you to try. :)

I'm with you Brutus. I just want people to hear from someone with experience what goes into these things. If people are happy with them and the price is worth it for them, I have no issues with that whatsoever.

EDIT: BTW, I've done some more research on the "Ato-Miser" and found that it also is not as revolutionary as it once appeared to me. Check out the video below. This is not Nhaler's video but bears a striking similarity and has been on the market longer. That doesn't mean the mod isn't cool or worthwhile, it just takes it down a notch in my (personal) view...

I've had them for about a week now and used the 510 xl. I have refilled them 4 times. The juice flavor is slightly off but not bad. Wicking was pretty good and vapor excellent.

I will say they don't travel well when filled. I had them leak all of the juice out. The seal at the bottom is not very good so you need to handle with care or keep a loaded syringe with you to fill them. They do go through more juice than dripping but alot better than carts with filler.

Any ideas on how to seal them back up?

I purchased two packs of the 510 2.6-2.8ohm FLUXomizers (Light Green and Red (actually Light Purple) from GotVapes and they arrived this past Thursday. I am a dripper by heart but have started to dabble in cartos. My first impression of these was I really like them. Vapor production and flavor was really good at 3.7 and also at 6v on my sb. 6volts at that ohm does get a little warm if you chain vape but was pretty decent. At 6v you need to give them alittle time to wick between drags than at 3.7. I ended up pulling the little clear plastic insert out that fits over the ceramic wick cup which is right beneath the white cap. I put on their rubber drip tip that is included and found that I don't get any leakage even when laid on it's side with a full carto. Only time it would drip out is when turned completely upside down. Anyway from a drippers viewpoint, these were a good investment and very satisfying. Give em a try!! Just my 2 cents!!
Take care all :)

I got three packs from Volcano, and have filled three. They are very nice.
I keep the three in a presription bottle so that thet are standing up, and the mess.if any. is confined to that container.

The script bottle is a good idea and in answer to how to seal them up well..... If you use the included tips NOT meant to drip thru I see that they go down further and seat on the seal with the fill holes and since the hole is so small where you inhale from also the holes are all covered making leaks very unlikely.A nice thing is that you can buy extras of their tips for only 79 cents even if you are only going to use them as "caps" not a bad price. Shucks I really am going to have to order the XL's next time!!!!!

Ok - I fixed it.

I ended up taking apart. On the xl there is a mouth plug, gel ring and a tiny 0 ring. I took the o ring and placed it in the little ridge just above where it connects to the battery. The clear tube slide right over it making a seal. I flipped my clear tube around because it was cracked a little on the bottom so now the crack is at the top. Perfect. and no more leaking...

I attempted to fill mine but it turned out to be very messy. These are my first cartomizers period so maybe I should've gone with something easier to start with? Anyway, I did manage to get some liquid in there but I'm not getting much vapor. What could I have done wrong?

Once you take off the mouth plug and second ring if XL take the tip and run it along the gel ring and you will feel a little indent, stick the tip in there and fill. I made the mistake of trying to stick the tip where the indents are and that if for the wick not to fill. By runnng the filler tip along the gel ring you will find the indent or little hole to put the tip in. Push it all the way down and fill slowly so the air pushes out the top. Wipe and vape.

I got in on a co-op a while back and got about 20-25 of the xl clearomizers for a buck each. They're on a slow boat from china. Being as impatient as I am I ordered a box of the fluxomizers cause I had to know.! So I got them today and I was pretty disappointed at first. What's with that goofy tip they send? Does anyone use those? I kept vapin thinking I'd break it in. I had originally used a 50/50 mix of juice. It used up pretty quick. I decided to refill with a just PG mix. The vape is a little thin but it's hitting decently. I'd like a bit more throat hit, but overall I'm happy I got in on that co-op. I like them. I'll be mixin the next vape at 70/30.

TJ.. if they are anything like the Ce2's then they do better with less VG.. more PG. I typically use about 25-30% VG and it's a little high for the E2's. The VG slows down the wicking, and they tend to taste a bit burnt.

Just got my clear volcano ones in today! woot!! Ready to give them a test run, but I'm not sure how to fill them. Do they fill the same as the e2's? (it sounds a bit different for some reason...)

thanks!
