Hey folks. So here's the deal, I've been vaping for a couple months now, started on eGo-t and a couple ce4s. A month ago I got a zmax v3 tele for my birthday and never looked back. I use it all day, every day. Now I'm looking into a mechanical to take to work and out with me as I get some funny looks with my robot cigar poking out of my pocket. I can't decide on just one thing. Im looking for a side button or bottom button. Im looking for stainless or brass or a combo of both. I don't want aluminum because it feels cheap and is as soft as a warm crayon. FLUSH MOUNTING 510 PLEASE. I was looking at the smok natural until I saw on todds that the 510 sticks out. That's one of the things that bugs me about my zmax. Adjustable center pin and good performance/efficiency. Probably gonna get set up with an rsst (nicest rba for the price unless I missed something) or something similar. And a mini rda I have sitting around.

My list of potentials include(but are not limited to)
EA mod clone
Brass Sentinel v3 clone (Great performance but worried about finding something to match the looks)
Kts+
Sigeleis #8
a

Im also open to hybrids or anything you guys want me to take a look at. Looking to spend around 100$ on the mod, atty (any recommendations? ) and wire+wick.

I just received my Chi You Clone from AKA Vapers and I think its awesome! It has extension tubes to allow for 18350, 18490, and 18650. Its got the flush mount controls and an air control. Its 59.98 and has the silver contacts. Just a suggestion... Oh and the RSST and Hercules (ithaka clone) look great on it.

I have also heard really good things about the chi you clone, the segelei 8w (caravela clone) and the bagua clone. I have only been vaping for a week and am already drooling over mods like the Zenesis, F3cta, and Nemesis. I have told myself I would start out with a cheaper clone before laying down over $200 for a mod, and the above mentioned clones are a few of the ones recommended to me.

TVS brass + igoL. Downside is you will spend less than your stated budget :p

I am in the SAME market. I saw a few good reviews on the Segelei #8. This one guy did that vs the nemesis and they were the exact same, no joke. He shows on another video what he did to the #8 to get it to vape the same, and it was REALLY simple. Basically got rid of one thing, and unscrewed the post so it was longer (or something to that extent) and it hit like a beast. Pretty much all of Segelei's clones/whats on VTechUsa seems to be pretty damn legit. I am leaning towards either the #8 (polished), Caravela or the k100 clone.

The Sigelei's are nice. I have the Caravela Clone (8w) and the 19b in brass and a couple of others. Looking hard at the magneto. Really like it. Fasttech now has a dozen or so clones. They're really everywhere these days. Check Vaportekusa and Exhale Vapors, they've always got great stuff. There are now dozens of inexpensive clones to choose from now. Good luck.

See that's what's hard. There are 18 dollar clones that can perform like 180 dollar ones. The new list is as follows. In no particular order,

Brass v3.
Sig 8w
Chi you clone (is there a brass model avaliable? )
..... any side buttons that perform as well as these?
I'm liking the chi clone but I am a fan of brass.

I'm also a new guy with plans to go to a mech.

Wish list:
  • Sig 8w
  • ...650 with a 500 batt and...
  • Kick 2
  • RSST Genesis [I know, lots to learn]

The simple brass and stainless looks sweet IMO. The kick is important for consistency. I'm currently using a Pro Tank 2 on a Spinner but I tried a direct drip atty today and holy cow...THE FLAVORS!!! I really enjoy this new-found "hobby". I guess I'm a lifetime vaper so I'm going to jump right into the good life...

Anyone successfully using a kick in the Sig 8w?

Same here. Is FT shipping really that bad? I was leaning towards Ft for several accessories, but if they are really *that* slow, then I'll need to shop elsewhere.

Haven't used them myself. However I have read anything from 7 days, all the way up to a month. I think there are a lot of variables. If I do decide to go with them, I think I will expect 10-15 days. Since I do not have a mech at all, and I am impatient as stated earlier, I will probably go with one of the vaportekusa clones, just so I can get my 'fix' lol. Once I finally have a mech, paired with my SVD, I can be a bit more patient and go ahead and order a few things from them; attempt to forget that I ordered it, then burst with excitement when the order arrives :p lol.

check the EhPro round 2 co op... michliu is the best facilitator; he checks everything out thoroughly and tells you exactly whats up with each item.
He's getting input on all the hot clones... and these are ones the vets want too; its really hard to keep track because there are so many clone versions of each different mod. some are junk and dangerous too.
He also has the EhPro mech clones and attys Tips and Tricks thread.
