No problem bro.
The V10 is decent steel. It's not designed the same as the Immortalizer at all. Just the sleeve that "looks-like" the Immo.
For a dual wick it's kinda weird that it only has one airhole. I bought 2 cuz the were pretty cheap.
But just like all the fast tech clones - the o-rings are subpar. It doesn't leak, but some of the o-rings peel. One is tighter than the other. The top cap is pretty difficult to get off - but that doesn't really matter as you never really need to take it off. I'm not sure why they didn't just make it a one piece design - would've been cheaper and easier to make.
The hole is also positioned rather high for the lead posts - so you have to leave some legs and build your coils a little higher.
I drilled another hole in one of them for testing. It does work better. But it's quite airy. The stock hole is like 5/64" - probably the biggest airhole I've seen on a cheap china clone. I drilled the second hole the same size.
I think I prefer it with one air hole and single coil.
I think the igo-L's steel, finish and o-rings are better quality. But I had to drill out the igo-L's airhole a little.
I think the V10 looks cooler than the igo-L.

Thanks for the reply! I'm going to pass on the trident clone for now. As for the V10's o-rings, have you found a replacement for them? If you have, what size (ID, OD, depth)? The longer legs has me abit worried. About how long are the legs on yours?

have any of you guys had this happen? when telescoping the body too tight i constantly short out my batts is this a design flaw? i have to leave it semi loose. Is there something i can do, maybe add some type of insulator,i have lost 2 batts already, and i really love this mod. I just don't like the fact it shorts out when telescoped too tight. The k100 did not have this issue.

I haven't changed the o-rings - since they don't leak and it's not too loose - they are still ok for me.

The legs on my coils are pretty long and they still don't sit high enough for the air holes.
Generally I like my airholes at the middle of the coil or lower - above makes for a harsh vape and less vapor.

I popped the top cap off so you can see
the air holes are still about 1mm higher than the coils

What kinda of batteries are you running?
Flat or Button top?
Are you crushing your battery when tightening the body?
Are you missing the o-ring at bottom switch?
Are you putting your batteries positive up or down??
Are your batteries missing their insulator wrap?
Are you screwing your atty all the way onto the 510 first before tightening the body?
What atty/coil/ohms are you running? Maybe your coil resistance is to low - high amp draw can kill your batteries.

Pics could help.

Here's a pic of my Sentinel v3 taken mostly apart (I posted this earlier in the thread)

Those pictures are perfect! Sorry for derailing your thread with questions about the V10. I just want it to work out so bad, because IMO it looks so damn good on the sentinel V3 :( Thank you for the pictures and thank you for the pin through the airhole; that made everything even more clear for me. Damn, those are long legs.

Mine came loose all the time. I went with a half a drop of Locktite. Problem solved.
Thanks, unfortunately i don't have any of that around. I have also heard of using Noalox inside the bottom pin. the guy said it tightens it up for a while, but eventually comes loose again. I shall look more into the locktite!!!

Here's a trick to help with your low coil problem. Go to your local hardware store and get screws that aren't headless for the posts. Then capture your wires with the new screws at the top of the post like the igo-L.

It's should raise your coil to the air holes and improve your vape.

Done! Thanks again ColdPunk :)

Sorry I don't mean to get too far off topic - it's all PinoyBoys fault anyways ;)

Ok. Ok. last post on this off-topic. Just because I am so happy about it.
This is one reason why I take apart old electronics before throwing them in the trash - save little screws, springs, etc.
Bag o little screws. I just so happened to have quite a few that were a perfect fit - I was able to "fix" both attys.
Now instead of a harsh airy vape - I get clean plume clouds.WooHoo!

And back to the Sentinel - since I bought two I thought I could sacrifice one. I was shining one up a little and wondered how it would look without the knurling - so I sanded it off and polished it up a little bit. I removed most of the knurling with a dremel and did the rest by hand.
I really need to just go to Harbor Freight and buy a cheapo grinder/buffer wheel.
