Clone: Sentinel Mechanical Mod

Into Day 2 of using this and a minor nit. I've been chain vaping it all day and there is a metallic smell coming from the aluminum or brass onto my hands. I imagine it's the oils, perspiration, etc. Only noticed after a few hours straight of using only this PV and no other, so it's been glued to my hands for 8 hours. Still well worth the money.

Its the brass,it give off an odor.

The full brass version is a bit lighter than K100 but it feels more solid and sturdier than the K100 or the sentinel aluminium version. The Mortar or TVS clone is the most heavy...

The TVS clone you have, would you happen to know if that one fits an 18350 battery? I read the the TVS Diablo from the Philippines is not compatible with 18350's. Hopefully the one from fasttech is because I ordered one! Thanks. hope to hear from you!

Tot, youve had no problem using those 18350s at such low res? Im curious cus i have 6 18350 efests (no 18490s) and wanna do the same thing on my gennys when my sentinel comes in. Just thought the Amp draw would be too great, so i have 6 panny 18650 hybrids in case.

yikes. thats scary. EFest 18350s are rated at 10C. i tend to think they inflate the mah, but if the batt is truly 700mah, a 10C rating puts the max amp draw at 7. meaning, on a freshly charged batt (4.2v), the lowest you should go is .6Ω. and i wouldnt even push it that far. 1Ω+ is much much safer. maybe .9 or .8 but even thats pushing it. flavor and TH no longer matter when you blast your tongue out of your head from an explosion. please be careful. we dont want anyone getting hurt and shedding a negative light on vaping.

Efest batts are rated a great battery,the trustfires are the lower quality.

Efests are safe, just not at less than half an ohm. Any batt that ends in -fire will be lesser quality. And might actually cause you a fire. The Panasonic batts are high quality, better than efest and WAY better than ultra/trust/mars fire.

you might be surprised which mods can hold a 14500. some mechs can use a 14500 even though the battery compartment is much wider. i dont know WHY anyone would want to...but some mods certainly can.
but i do agree with you that in general FT harbors some misinformation. thats for sure.

I finally got mine today from VaporBreak. 12 days from order date (not too bad from china).

I'm really quite happy with this.
I still think I would prefer SS over aluminum just for durability, but the weight is actually nice.
I like the lighter weight for pocketing but it doesn't feel flimsy or anything.
Aluminum is better for conductivity anyways.
It does hit hard. The button does not require any modding - it's short, just the right pressure needed.
The button does not fire unlocked standing on it's own weight. It fires every time I've hit it.
I love the top sprung, floating, center pin!
