I was wishing dishes yesterday, with my Halo element in my shirt pocket. I bent over the sink and it fell into the rinse water. I jerked it out within about 1 second, and quickly removed the atty from the batt, dried the battery (automatic) off with a paper towel, and blew the ejuice/rinsewater out of the atomizer. It continued to work immediately after the incident and still works just fine.
I figure the only part that could really get damaged is the battery. Since it was automatic, no chance of water seeping in around the button, but the connector end isn't sealed, and I suppose water could get in the LED end, but that seems to be a pretty tight fit.
At any rate, it seems there was no harm done. Unlike dropping a cell phone in a toilet (which I have also done), pulling it out quick and drying it off immediately seemed to have saved it.
My cell phone was in the same pocket when this happened, so I'm lucky it was my e-cig and not my phone that fell in the sink. I don't think my wife would have been too happy if she had to replace another cell phone of mine that had fallen out of my pocket into water.
