I have been a manager more than once, one time with about 80-90% females. "You are the best manager I have ever had." I have heard more than once. "Why are you teaching me this, there is too much?" "I have seen 13 layoffs and the time is right for another, 1,300 people gone. If you know 4 of 6 parts of the job and she (pointing) knows only one, who do they pick to stay?"

She stopped and let me teach her another section of the job. Another. "Why do we do this?" and still on and on. "Why do we do this, or this?" Problem was none in that company would take charge in front of the masses to make sense of the mess in front of us, music remember.

You go to sites and look at how they label it, and well to be honest; I made a choice and went with it when no other would for the PC store zombie-mart; saved them millions in lawsuits. Off topic. (but they copy my work to this day)

"Hey I was wanting to show you this?" A mad female face came to me early in the morning. "Another day." she said. "You are the smartest man I have ever met." I walked away as another female tended to her.

Another, her eyes not right; I look at the eyes the heart to the soul, she was not right and one I was mentoring to be my dang um what is the word? She would take my place if I was sick or on vacation; anyway. Twice "Something is on you?" "Yes." "Go, leave it will not be counted against you....." Once for a terrible dentist visit that though I told her, that company was horrible she went and cost her much pain, another I will not describe and the last well. "You need a mental health day, go......"

You do not learn how to be a good leader from the good, you learn how to be a good leader from the bad, and I have had lots of bad leaders......

Trying for bed, but not happening yet. So went for some food, as I am not filling this fridge. A heavy "man" is sitting in front of me and another. I sit waiting as he is arguing slightly with the people. I tap my toes and dance on my legs, they take his order. He does not give up, have seen this before.

"Give it up." He turns and looks at me and back to the ladies behind the counter. "Give it UP!" He turns to me and says he was in the army, too young and fat for that boy. The manager came up front and the rest of the ladies smiled, even got a business card.

Young rabbit, trix are for kids, and you are no vet. Did not say anything back to him after he mentioned that, nor anyone else. No fire for the flame, he took his food and left and well like usual when you are nice that way, the others give you a free treat, lots of honey for the biscuits. LOL.

Treat people like humans and they will treat you back, well some of them........ dang. We need that tree fam island; though there is a way....

I am glad I went out & did what I needed to get done...the change oil light came on in the truck today (I noticed it wasn't full but was assured that it was changed when I got it and that they just forgot to reset it)...so I stopped by the dealer and asked them to verify that it was done(and if they could reset it) and found out it wasn't.....so they did it today for free.....and I also was reminded that it had been there less than a month....so I am so lucky...(not to mention the guy who did it & parked it told me he liked it and wished he had it!!!)......and I know my oil was changed.....

Busy day with strange stuff at W today - managed to get thru it without too many issues.
Lots of crazies on the road - why does someone in a little compact car think they can force their way in between a couple trucks then get all upset when the trucks won't jam on the brakes in the middle of the interstate - got a feeling that guy will eventually end up as a snack for an 18 wheeler.

Good morning, everyone. We had an eat for the kids night last night (no drinking--this was a salad and sandwich shop that has just opened and is trying to drum up business). Pricey, but 50% was going to the school (versus the usual 10-20%).
