I can announce it now, because I just agreed to terms, and have an initial downpayment on the way. Selling the biz. Training folks next week.

Yay!

Great folks too. The tobacco will be organic from here on out also. (I did a batch and it has a similar yield and is worth the extra cost.)

Their training runs will catch up the orders I owe you poor, patient folks...thanks so much for dealing with the wait times of late. All will be delivered.

:)

I'd just like to say THANK YOU for the wonderful product you've been providing at such comparatively reasonable prices. I've still got a little in my "working bottle", and currently I'm down to adding just .7% in my mixes, and I do have another 15ml in the freezer for "just in case"... but please know how valuable your product has been for me and for many others, in escaping a very long addiction to cigarettes -- I really couldn't have done it without Wholecig WTA, and I am more grateful than words can say!

BLESS YOU!!!!! AND THANK YOU!!!!!

Well, I had to register to comment on this. I'm crushed to see the news that wholecig is moving on, though I certainly wish you the best. I can safely say I never would have quit cigarettes if it wasn't for your product. Just got my most recent order in on monday (very excited about trying Turkish Blend). I guess I'll have to place another this week before you close up shop and stock up on the DIY base while I still can. I'm going to be lost without that stuff. Thanks for everything, jfresh!
Thanks for the kind words. I'd very much like to reassure everyone that the company will continue on without me, but that's not yet a certainty. I do have a friend with a genuine interest...but so far it's just discussion. I'm asking a very reasonable price, basically the cost of our equipment, webhosting, domains, etc...and I'm thinking of holding onto 10% in case his marketing and sales drive turns this into the multi-million dollar company it ought to be (you never know...I really have done practically nothing on that front). He's very interested and is going to sit in on the next production round...see what he's in for work-wise. We'll hope for the best.

:)

Oops...going to get the sale going this evening. Newsletter forthcoming, but you can go ahead and use code: SEASONAL for 15% off all products under the "products" tab. Sale does not apply to Bulk/Wholesale orders. I'll set the code to last till Dec. 15, which should give me ample time to get everything out a week or so before Christmas...I'm probably going to give myself a couple weeks vacation around Christmas time. Been considering the possibility of finding a bottling partner, perhaps a shipper as well...those are the parts of the business that exhaust and overwhelm me. The production side is really no big problem.

Everyone's support and appreciation has given me the motivation to try to find a way to make it work going forward. A real vacation will probably work wonders, I'm thinking.

Summary: If the leaked document is indicative of the final regs, the industry as we know it will be given a death sentence.
Document: tveca.com/tveca_docs/industry_guide_draft_tveca.pdf
Thread: TVECA post table of contents for Deeming Final Rule

No, I actually haven't read this. Nor do I intend to. I won't say I'd NEVER bother to read a government document, but you'd have to pay me for sure. The Bible is full of stupid rules also, and I don't read that nonsense either.

And I think it silly to respond to this with fear, or even the slightest bit of concern. It is only the general sheep-like trained response of default obedience that lets this criminal cartel continue to think it has any say over our lives. Do you really think they could enforce this? Of course not.

I'm just tired of making, bottling and shipping e-liquid. Just tired of it. This "challenge" almost, but not quite, makes me want to stay in the game just to give an example of how to ignore the royal parade of criminal authoritarians.

(I got through that without using any expletives!)

Ah well.

I've been vaping the Turkish Blend for a week now and this is really great stuff. It may be the closest thing to smoking a cigarette on the market, especially great after eating! Nice flavor that isn't overpowering and doesn't call attention to itself. Just sort of feels comforting. It's also a very light juice by NET standards so it's really easy on my tanks. By comparison, I usually vape a 50/50 mix of the DIY base and Goodejuice NETs and that gums up my tanks much faster. I'm definitely impressed.

Also still have a fresh bottle of American Cigarette waiting to try. I've had it before but it was back when I was still smoking so I want to see how my initial impressions might have changed now that I can taste again. I wasn't a big fan of the flavor the first time around, but this was my first exposure to WTA and it was the first time I saw vaping as a viable alternative. Before trying WTA, I just went through one juice after another thinking, 'this isn't going to work'. This juice changed my mind so I'm looking forward to reevaluating it.

Still need to order more DIY base... I'm looking to get a 240 ml bottle so I was wondering if wholecig might be having any sales coming up that I should wait for?
Yes! Having a sale as soon as I'm all caught up. Probably late Monday or Tuesday.

Fantastic! Thanks for the Seasonal discount!
Your idea of finding help is a great idea. Good luck. That would be good for everybody.
But most of all, enjoy your vacation! And thanks for being there for us.

Wow. Quite a response from the recent newsletter. I forget this was "out of the blue" for most customers. I've addied a single 240ml bottle to the bulk wholesale section. I realize that's the best option for many of our international customers, especially.

Hi Jeffery,

Any update on how things are going / where you're at with the batch etc?

Thanks
Sorry. I had some good friends visiting from Michigan...sort of put off the business for a bit...squeezing out a batch tonight.

Good potential news on the horizon...but I'll hold off till I know more. There's real movement though, on long-term prospects. Thanks for bearing with the wait.

:)

My problem's that the € has based so much, it's effected the price for me catastrophically! :(
PM (or email) me for a special coupon code. As one of our earliest supporters, you certainly are welcome to a deep discount. :)

Got the tester samples out today. (yeah...maybe monday sometimes means wednesday) It's just a naked 15ml bottle...haven't got the new labels designed yet. can't wait to get your feedback on it. been vaping it for 3 or 4 days myself, and it's really quite nice. a touch harsher than the american cigarette, but you get used to it pretty quick. But I probably shouldn't spoil your honest first impressions with mine.

So...I feel inspired to pre-announce a major decision...here, before generally letting the world know. It may seem like bad news, but I assure you, it's not!

I've decided to close up shop. Soon. I'll give everyone a chance to stock up first. And I'll probably keep selling the cases and bulk 36mg, at least for a while after I quit retailing. That takes much less of my time and focus.

The fact is, I'm no longer excited and enthused about doing this with my time. It''s getting hard to be truly, fully engaged. I'm actually excited to move on. I'm open to selling the business, if that presents itself as a possibility, but really it's all about following my passion, which is, among other things, poker. I'm quite good at it, and never really had the opportunity before to fully explore the possibilities. I played online for several years (for a living) and then the government shut that down (boo!) but now I live in a casino town, and holding myself back is kinda frustrating. And I've realized I can't do both, at least not to the best of my ability. I don't want to give short shrift to either.

I'm proud of what my partners and I have done here, and I don't consider it a failure, or anything like that, it's just life is short, and my bucket list a little too long, you know?

I doubt I'll be selling individual bottles by the end of the year. I'm thinking perhaps another 6 weeks, but I haven't really chosen a date yet.

Let me also say I appreciate all of you, your support, your advice, and your appreciation of what we've accomplished.

:)
I cannot click like on the above post because I'm sad that we'll lose you as a vendor. I believe my transition from smoking to vaping would have been considerably harder without your WTA juices. Now almost two years later, I no longer think they're necessary to me personally, but I still enjoy a few pulls a day. On several occasions when I've gone a week or more without (due to being on the road and having only taken conventional juice with me), I start to feel like something is missing.

I guess I should start paying more attention to just how much WTA I actually consume so I know how much (more) to stock when you announce, "last call".

I wish you good luck in whatever endeavors you pursue.
