For updating the Sx350J mod are you updating using the sx mini upgrades - -SXmini maker,SXmini,yihisxmini,yihiecigar,sx350,yihi sx350, yihi sx350 mini, yihiecigar sx350 mini, gravity sensor,www.yihisxmini.com,120w device
Or from the yihi page - Download-yihiecigar,sx350,Yihi SX350,dna30 30W chip,SX350 35W chip Manufacturers & Suppliers - Dongguan Yihi Electronic Co.,Limited

I was under the impression don't know if right or wrong that the one from the sx mini page was for the sx350j chip and the sx mini body.
The one from the yihi page was an upgrade just for the chip that could be used by modders who just used the chip.

I also use an apple computer and can't use the one from the sx mini site.
I can get something on my desktop from the yihi site but don't know if it will work when trying to update the chip.

If you've tested one of the updates then I'd like one for mine if not too much trouble.
Not concerned with the watts but think there was an eco update in one that may get you some more battery time and probably some other tweaks.

26650 Tmod owners - what 26650 batteries do you use... Leaving for work today.. I decided to put one of my new Efest green 4200 may batteries in for the day and it was auto firing... Quick comparison to the older battery and it is approx 1mm taller... Didn't have time to measure needed to get out the door

Looks like its the purple efest that are my problem... I have a green efest 26650 that works fine.. Its just getting tired...

I ordered the purples from illumn and went back to look at the specs and yep they are 2mm taller then the green.

Now I need to source some green efests

Here is a pic of the purple that is too tall

I'll get the final back at the end of the week or beginning of next week, the sx350j, then I approve and he pumps em out n ships em. I've got all the mods that are ordered about half done, all the hard parts. So once I get the faceplates they will be shipping pretty quick. I'm trying to decide right now if I'm gonna install the 75w upgrade on all 9f them or just send them out at 60w. It's really easy so I am leaning towards just sending them without doing the upgrades to them.

Does anyone have a regulated mod that they use at 60+watts? I've been running one of my jboards with the 150w update, just to make sure there's no problems with the board. Now I'm usually around 0.2ohm in the mechs, I consider that to be pretty aggressive, and I gotta say the jboard at 75w is about all I can even really handle, It's a beast. Does anyone run high watts in here? ...... yeah I know this isn't the place really.

I'd prefer mine with the stock firmware and I'll upgrade it myself. Anything to get it out the door a few minutes faster. ;)

I just confirmed with 2 different suppliers that the green 26650 Efest a discontinued and any that are available are old stock.

The green 26650 4200 mah are 65.8 mm tall (from illumn.com) and the purple 4200 tall 67.3 mm tall.

Looks like Tom is using to the shorter green ones to spec the battery hole on the 26650 Tmod.

This difference is causing my Tmod to autofire with the Purple batteries.

Short of sending the Tmod back to Tom to have the whole bored larger, any way adjust the throw?

Look at the copper positive contact, you may have play to be able to bend up the battery end section to give a gap, I know there was a little play on mine, it may get you the 2-3mm you need

There's also the titanium wire calibration in the new Yihi upgrades ;)
Yes that is the newest but just a test , yihi is taking feedback before putting out the final version for it (another reason to love their chip, they actually listen to the customer to provide the best possible product)
