So Tom, how do you usually squonk?

I picture myself holding it in one hand and doing a reach-around with my middle finger for a nice comfortable squeeze. Not really having to reach but describing hand position.

Or holding it in one hand and doing a finger and thumb pinch squeeze using the other hand. For those huge Squonks or when the bottle gets low.

I know you wanted to be able to use either hand when you came up with your design but I'm guessing it's really comfortable to use as well?

I was initially very interested to see how this would look but now that Tom has put his input in on the the angle of cuts I don't have a lot of Hope either:facepalm:
The thing is that the current squonk holes didn't just happen, it takes some effort. It takes ten cuts to make a squonk hole, then if I have to go over then again it's another ten. That's about an hour each. That's not the problem however. The problem is that if I don't do it that way I have to do it another way spend the time, and materials, figuring out another way. That's ok, I'm not lazy but without the center piece, just carving a chunk out of it is going to look just like that; like I carved a chunk out of the side. It's gonna have more sharp points as well. The current hole tapers down at an angle to meet the bottle. That exposes more of the bottle making squonking easier. It's also tight on the bottle. Being tight on the bottle keeps the bottle from ballooning oposite your squeeze and gives you more squonk for you squeeze, if ya know what I mean. .

I didn't make it to the shop today so I haven't gotten to play with it yet, that's just a little more elaboration on the topic. Well see for sure tomorrow.

That's exactly how I do it. I also run my pinky underneath it. I do the same with both hands.

I'm not sure more open would feed enough juice. I've got a few feeders and the bottle needs to be held on enough sides that pressing it leaves nowhere for it to flatten to. Which forces juice out and up. For eg the reo has 3 sides covered of the bottle between battery and body. The mod in my avatar isn't particularly squonky

I definitely see your point. The juice bottle needs to be well supported! Like so many things in life :D The more I learn about the Tmod design and the reasoning behind it the more I like it!! ;)

What Doffy is saying is exactly what I was unable to communicate. The bar in front hold the bottle tight, when you push on one side, you can't even feel the other side, it doesn't budge out bc it's being held tight. Makes for less pressure needed and; "more squonk for your squeeze." Additionally, the angle if the cut, from the body where it angles in to meet the bottle, that angle exposes more of the bottle, if it were flat it would reduce the ammount of bottle exposed by the thickness of the case right there. Did that make sense. .?

More important than being supported it needs to be tight. By holding it tight it keeps it from moving away from the pressure applied by your finger.

The bottle as well as the battery are made with a boring bar, it's drilled out first but then, most importantly, it's bored to the exact size, to the thousandth. Every part on each one of these things is made the way it is for a reason, when I originally made the first one, it was for myself remember, it wasn't made to be easy to make or quick to reproduce, it was made to preform over all. I don't mean to be cocky or anything, but it's the truth. You'll see! [emoji57]

On another note, I've never been one for fancy coils but I just made my first clampton coils and I gotta say, they are pretty sweet.
These ohm out at 0.20ohm....not very purdy but. .
