This is what it looks like bead blasted.. do you want an even job like the pic or do you want me to go back over the squonk holes so they would be shinny?

But what is "it". Titanium or aluminum? I would still love to see a comparison between the Ti and aluminum in similar finishes... Bonus points for both bead blast.

Would it be possible to do what turbo is talking about? Thinning the titanium to make it lighter while still making it stronger than aluminum?

Thinking it would take a lot of redesign.
The screws would probably need relocated inward, and I assume there are so far out on the 18650 version because it's required
Changing the thickness of material on the top could mean changing the button and connector too.

And once all that work is done, there will be limited sales to recoup the NRE costs, and it would change the whole process.
Right now, I think there just one, for all metals. Add a new set of dimensions and there's a higher chance of mistakes using the wrong ones at some point in the process.

Nope, it's true titanium is stronger and thus can be made thinner however that is irrelevant, thevl size of the mod is determined by other factors. I make it as small as it can possibly be , irregardless of material, while staying just a touch bigger than a 22mm atty. Keeping a 22mm atty protected is the number one priority. No way I would build a mod that would allow an atty to hang over the deck; besides how ugly that is, it's a matter of protection for the atty as well as the 510 connector.

That's what I figured. How much heavier (weight) would a titanium mod be than say 6061 aluminum or 7075?

The difference between the two aluminum mods is three grams if I remember correctly, it's less than two percent. The difference from there to titanium is a bit more than that, it's actually noticeable if you had one in each hand but it's nothing crazy.

how responsive is the squonk compared to a reo? in terms of how much juice feeds for pressure applied to the bottle?
I couldn't tell ya, I've never touched or used one of those. I'd be willing to bet the holes in my 510 are quite a bit larger. The hole in my 510 that liquid feeds thru is 1/16 in. the bigger the hole the easier the juice flows in n out.

In most if not all cases I believe the hole in my 510 is going to be bigger, by a considerable amount, than the hole in the pin/post of your atty.

Nope.... Deringer is 2.4mm, Gen2 Marquis is #52(1.6mm), 1/16" is 1.5mm. Non modded or m2.5 post attys; yes. Most of them are #54 or 1.38mm. Just saying.

I will say my TMod has no problems squonking.

When you make my Bead-Blasted/ Shiney Squonk Hole :D TI Girl Style Mod, throw it (it's tough, you can) on the scale, I'd guess ~35-45% heavier.

I really want to see a pic of that one and the weight will be interesting to see as well ;)
