Doggamn tapatalk. .. can anyone tell me how to upload a pic from a Web page, not thru tapatalk, that's over 1mb..

Tom, I'd suggest creating an imgur account. Super easy image hosting, free, no size limits. Here's a little tutorial I posted earlier in this thread.

@Graywolf1911

I'd suggest creating an account on www.imgur.com to host your pics. You can then upload your pics from your computer and generate image links to drop into your forum posts. You can also download iOS and Android apps to upload to imgur straight from your phone if you frequently use it to take your pics (every pic I take is with my iPhone).

Once you've created your account, simply click on the Upload Images button at the top of the screen, browse to where your images are located on your computer, and select the ones you wish to upload:

v9Ukxwo.png

Once your pics are uploaded, click on an individual pic to see the available image links, listed on the right:

L0CRkN2.png

You can copy/paste the BBCode link directly into your posts to insert the image.

Additionally, you can create albums of images either when you upload or after the fact. You can embed an album in your posts simply by copying and pasting the album link from the address line of your browser. ECF's forum software will automatically recognize the link as an imgur album and it will show up like this:

edit: another point - the new forum software will automatically resize big images to be properly sized for forum posts. With the previous forum software (vBulletin), you often would have to resize your images before uploading. Now, you can upload and link to any size image and not worry about how big it will appear in your post.

Just got my long awaited Mini today. Came with a nylon bag and extra bottle and tube as well as extra torx screws and key. The bottle is short and wide and looks to be much more than 5 ml, more like 10 ml I'm guessing. The mini is TINY next to a regular girl mod next to it. I'll have to play with it later after I check out the market crash. Glad I closed out my trading account yesterday before the SHTF. Anyways, here's a pic of my new Mini. Good job, Tom!

Okay Tom, you can go ahead and refund my money for my SX Mod. You said you were going to get the SX Mods out before you finished the minis and here is the second person getting their mini. I'm done with your customer service or lack of it to be more precise. So happy us SX folks could fund the purchase of your new CNC machine, not!!!

Jeez NGM chill out. This is not like you to get upset over a few days delay. I'm waiting for the SX mod too and I'm sure Tom is doing his best to finish the SX mods and ship them out. Look at it this way, better to have a real asset than to hold soon to be worthless fiat dollars. I hope you will reconsider!

mind your own business

I don't know poo about poo here (just received my 18650 mech today) but when you post it on a public forum it becomes everyone's business. If you want it to stay your business do it in private.

Cool Mr. Moore, I'm glad you feel that way. I will PM you my PP address and you can refund my $550. But, I'm betting you won't pay up and from Tom's non response to this thread and my PM, that he may not either. Did you notice how quiet this thread got after my post. I wonder why that is....probably because I have received a lot of PMs supporting me. I think a lot of people are fed up with his excuses and flat out lies. Did you receive the correct color mod that you ordered? Is your Cerakote chipping yet? Probably not as you just got yours. Just give it some more time buddy. Glad you decided to step in to this and make it your business.

Small shops make mistakes, no finish is immune to wear or imperfections.

The SX mods have seen many updates regarding development. When the plates from a 3rd party arrive, progress will resume.

But it's your money. Spend it or don't. But you went over the top with you recent posts.

No, Tom went over the top with his excuses and lies. And what do you know, not a peep out of Tom. :tumble:

It is my duty as an ECF veteran to post stuff like this to make sure other members know what they are getting into. We are supposed to be a community who support each other and look out for each other. Just because it upsets the fanboys who are blinded by the limelight :hubba: is not enough of a reason not to post. Have a god day sir! :)

Dan I like you and respect you, but I think you are wrong in this case. It is like we are all in Tom's store in person and I am talking to Tom and everyone else keeps butting in. That does not happen in stores I visit and it probably doesn't happen in Australia either.
