When your button and button hole get gunked up it can also turn it into an auto fire vent box so be careful shortening the throw.
Part of adjusting for an atty to me is a quick clean of the button (sandpaper occasionally) since the button is already loose when adjusting. I shorten the throw with a Neo magnet, which I estimate results in an additional .03V drop. Nothing really. But thank you for bringing it up - as with contact maintenance, button maintenance matters too. Eventually (any) the mech's button will need maintenance, please be prepared for this with some 1000+ grit paper and (possibly only) some isopropyl.
Yeah, that's for sure, I'm a big fan of isopropyl, I use it to clean everything, especially my mods.

I've only had one button get "gunked" from over-sqounking my Lancia when it first arrived, I used isopropyl and a piece of a scotch-brite pad to cure that problem... otherwise my buttons have remained clean.
That gunk is from your hands. Mine tend to gunk up a little faster, that's how I know I'm working hard enough.
There's been crazy monsoons here in the dirty desert for the last few days so I haven't been able to get as much done add I'd like, you don't want to paint when the humidity gets prevalent, so I'm not finished yet but I haven't dropped any sx updates in a while so I'll give ya some pics from a few days ago.

Nah.... that OBVIOUSLY was just a test color... I'm pretty sure that he's going to repaint that one sniper grey and send it to this guy [emoji118] [emoji6]
