Here's a rough draft of the keychain torx key.This one it's pretty ugly but it gets the point across. If I do them I'm let you know, they take quite a bit of work, they are held together with super strong magnets.

If you want one please Luke this post.

Hey Guys..I'm patiently waiting for my mod to land in Egypt..I managed to literally steal one from @rudedog (thanks buddy!) and I am biding my time going through this thread. But I couldn't help wondering...why aren't there enough reviews on this beauty. I only found one on youtube..and the rest are clips that Tom posted showing various stages of manufacturing.

Probably so as not to feed the cloners. The internals are very simple and rock solid, but why put them out there to be copied? Once you have a tmod, you get it. You'll never look back

But after going through this thread I'm sure it's worth waiting for I am sure I'll be asking you for my second and third tmods in no time ..the dually for sure!!!! Oh yeah, I'm just as excited to have them finished as they are to get them, the SX MODS really are a wildly cool device, they sure do take a ton of time and work to build but I think it's pretty apparent when you get one in your hands.

Can't wait to get my hands on my first Tmod. Mine would have been shown in the previous picture, but i changed the finish to Carbon fiber inlay/brushed.

in the meantime, my sun box will hold me over.

love the Cerakote. Never would have thought a Gun finish would work so well on a Mod.
I have an ED Brown Executive Target and a Les Baer Premier II coated with this finish. I have yet to scratch either gun, and i have several thousand rounds thru them.

Cerakote is really the only way to add color to aluminum, you can't get anything tougher, they only thing I kinda wish I could do is the metalflake or chrome cerakote finishes but they have to be tumbled after you paint it too get the effect so I just never played with it, they have enough sweet colors to choose from, I think I have about 20 available.
