Hey Tom, check out the KeepPower 50A 26650s... they are actually 30A CDR and 4200mAh, but they do seem to be a bit larger than most other 26650s. They just barely fit in my UD Gladiator tube mod... diameter-wise, they are fine, but are just a hair bit longer than most. Good, solid battery though. I've run mine with 0.2 ohm NiChrome dualies in an old 30mm Tobh many times with no issues over the past couple of years. Might be worth looking into, anyway...
One reason I've never looked at 26650 mods is never found any batteries I thought worth worthy. These mods are sick Tom sick sick sick. First thing I did when u said u were making them was look for batteries. If u guys have. Never heard of used rtd vapor online check them out all authentic and allways cheep cheepest price around. Just looked crap effest 26650 but pretty much any 18650 u can think of. Only other place I buy batteries is kidney puncher. Actually test there batteries and show u the graphs can't beet that
I use the orange MKNE in a different mod, they have been around forever and even conservative raters put them at 20amps

You will want to get the measurements from Tom on the battery he designed the 26650 Mod around... 26650 vary greatly in height... Will my original 26650 TMod, I found some batteries too tall

I agree, lots of the 26650s are different I. Sizes, so are 18650s, I say that and people think I'm stupid, but my tolerances are tight enough to make a difference, if you want to run a taller battery I can make it work, I can mill out the battery hole a bit deeper, and offset the thickness of the base if the button.

I was able to find batteries that work great... If those die and I can not find them any more, the mod will make a trip back to you
Mooch did some 26650 testing and his recommendations are below. Apparently, they are all the same cell. So, if the green Efests work for the Tmods, the rest should as well.

I can confirm that the V1 green efests work in the TMod 26650... The V2 green efests are taller and made my orginal 26650 Tmod autofire.. Atleast when I tried them about 6 months ago

It's I've played with the wood a little but already, it's coming up on deck soon, gonna be a wood grip insert, like the carbon fiber grip insert mods.
