Titanium anodizing is on the surface on a molecular level it's like it's growing on the surface, that's how all anodizing is. This color is just the result of a certain voltage. Different voltage different colors, same as heat, different temperature different colors. It's hard to control bc the color differ drastically from a small change in voltage or temperature.

VERY COOL!

The cap there on the left is what I'm looking for as far as color. I'm starting to get this feeling that I'm REALLY gonna like the way it looks. (like that commercial from the mens warehouse).

I've never googled anodizing titanium but I'm guessing what you're doing there is a pretty creative approach. And you're getting pretty consistent results as far as even distribution of color.

Damn if I wasn't already excited now its building even more. Thanks again for the progress pics Tom.

Yeah it just comes down to controlling temp or voltage, I should have a power supply but I'm geting creative to see what's doable without one and I can pretty much get it where I want it so I'm prolly not gonna bother w the power supply.

I'm already stupid over budget with these ti mods but I've never let money be an issue and I'm not gonna start now. . .

Get excited brother!

I'm gonna start a list for caps you guys know the drill, copy n paste the list with your name added and everything you would like. These are for delrin caps, black or white. White caps will not be see thru, I made mine out of a 7/8 piece of delrin so it came out very thin . I will post pics but they will not me that thin.

Lancia caps will be one piece if you want the dt part to look any different let me know and I'll see what I can do to accommodate special requests. I am very happy with the one I made it keeps the glass from falling off / leaking / coming lose due to the heavy stock top cap.

Marquis caps will accept a standard drip tip. If you would like a built in dt it will look like the black one attached in the pic and will reduce the height by a little.

Both delrin caps (Marquis and Lancia) reduce the chamber volume by a little bit.
