Yep, you need wire with a sufficiently high TCR, which Kanthal simply doesn't have. Titanium does though.

They are done, waiting for paint. Cerakote only ground ships so it takes a while.
I'm dying to see the #1. How did the logo milling come out? I'm thinking of sending the sniper gray back to be done the same way... Thoughts?

I have 1600mah vacs as well that last noticeably less time than the 4 or 5`s 2100 or 2600. I'm not gonna be working on any regulated mods any time soon. I'm pretty sure putting a chip say $80 and a lipo say $40 X2 if you don't want to have to charge it with a 1ma charger (onboard) is gonna price the thing out of existance. That's the reason all the mods with chips are simple (cheap) boxes. It's too much money to add to a mod that is expensive to make already.
I don't like the idea of putting a board in and only using one 18650 , I feel like I'm leaving a lot on the table, the rest of the capabilities of the board (with 2 cells) but I'm afraid it would be very hard to fit and end up being a huge device.

18650batteried go quick. That's why I put magnets on all my temp
Control devices I got a regulated squonker this week. Not sure I like it as much as my Mechanicals. But I have not built it out. And had the one to get it perfect yet

Thanks Hemp, I have a dna40 squonker and a dna40 hana , in the drip per I see it's kinda nice but I would never get close to hitting tc in the feeder be I am used to squonk in every hit anyways . , honestly I'm just .... hurt by adding a chip adds cost and not power. In a feeder I don't think you need tc. But that's just my personal opinion.

Should be, that's how the dna40 works. The sx also has three custom modes high power low etc. I agree the tech isn't quite there yet.

Titanium will be the lightest right? But brass or copper will hit harder, or does the outside have an effect on that?
