I'd put a little anti seize on the screws for the titanium mods but the aluminum mods don't need it, I have really short screws in all mine, they only grab by like 2 440 threads and I've never had a problem.
You guys are a riot, the solution to long throw is to have a thicker bottom on your button, forcing the contact lower, towards the battery, you don't have to add anything all that does is add vdrop n ask for trouble. . The reason I don't do it is it makes an auto fire more possible.

What type of anti seize for the Ti ones do you suggest Tom?

I remembered I had a small electronics driver set I got off Amazon a couple of years ago and had the torx bit it. The driver with bit is perfect size to fit in vape bag and a lot quicker to remove screws when changing out batteries and adding juice. If I remember correctly it was under $10.

Y'all using some lube on the threads of those screws that you're constantly running in and out of relatively soft metals?
Good advice for all, years and years down the road if one of you should have an issue with this there is an easy, cheap, and good as new fix, so no worries vape on! It's not a thrusting rocket ship making daily trips to the moon. LOL:lol:

Yes it will, every time you add a floating point of connection between the battery and Atty it "can" lead to added resistance, power loss or a potential source of failure.

I personally would rather add mass (solder a small brass shim) to the bar below the button than stack things on the battery.

Using a magnet isn't the wrong way, it can be viewed as less efficient.

I don't have this bottom feeder yet but why not just add it to the button itself, easier, DOESN'T AFFECT PERFOMANCE, easily adjustable for fine tuning (make it a bit longer than you would think) or changing down the road and works great. Hope this works for you, should all similar designs, good luck friend.

I love that!

Alright getting ready to pull the trigger IMHO the best built BF Mod to date, lurking in dark waiting on reviews and complaints from the small group of people who always feel they could have done a better job, crucify me now:pervy:. So far i see a and i quote a crud build up on firing pin and battery (preventive maintenance) which is normal, a battery rattle issue (easy fix) with different batteries good job takes all batteries, a long button throw for some (easy fix for a shorter throw) which could be fixed by lengthening the button or recommending a beefier replacement button be sold which could be sanded/filed for each individuals liking, and last aluminum threads for battery changes, (YOU did something wrong if they should get stripped out) this aluminum is used in everything from ground shaking Harley's, to sound barrier breaking Fighter Jets, a little drop of grease/vaseline every 6 months to ease your mind and you can take this mod with you in your next life. Wow I just did a people's review, I don't have this mod yet. Other than it hits like a train and built like a battleship anything else the people have to say before I pull the trigger:thumb::nah::thumbs:

Use food grade anti seize or malox, you done need much at all I put some in there it will prolly be enough in the forever, it's not something you ever have to think about again.

Am I reading that as malox or nalox? i have both. LOL I use Deoxit gold from time to time on all of my mods' contacts and batteries. Seems to help with buildup.

You rock momma, I got your brass beauty dialed in, I put all new internals inside.i wrapped a couple sets of coils for you, bag one should come in close to your current build and bag two should be a little lower.

Bless your heart!!! Haven't been able to wrap any yet and I ran out of the ones that I had prewrapped b4 my thumb surgery. Those on that Derringer were on their last leg. You can tell that I use it alot[emoji6]

What was ailing Brass Beauty? Did I do something stupid to her? LOL

Oh, and I have started using my batteries right side up in the Ti one. I had some auto firing on brass beauty and thats what made me start putting them in upside down. After reading that wasn't the safest, I switched back [emoji6]

Yeah the deoxit d100 on the negative brings it up nicely. I deoxit golded the positive when I got it and it is still good.

Yeah that stuff is awesome Doffy! I quit using the nalox on anything after I kept hearing how abrasive it could be.
