Yeah that siht sucks if you have a quality mod you don't need it....that's just my opinion

Totally agree I don't generally use anything just find regularly keeping all contacts clean with alcohol wipes work a treat!

I think that either tossed mine or put it back somewhere so that I wouldn't forget and accidentally use it.

Is the Deoxit gold ok for occasional use? I usually hit the batt tops and firing pins/ contacts once and awhile with it.

If you have some Deoxit gold and haven't put any on your contacts yet, you'll see a noticable difference when you put some on. I'm sold on the stuff.

I've been working electronics MFG for 25+ years and swear by deoxit (G and D). We use it on all the gold edge contacts in our repaired PC's and I've seen it bring many MANY back from the dead. Plus they stay out there longer between services.

I believe I may have been one of the first to recommend it here when I bought my first 2 (other leading brand) bottom feeding mod's. It was slow to take until other folks started trying it out.

I dab both ends of my battery every change and I almost never have to clean. Of course I'm finding my Ti girl doesn't really oxidize anyway. Anyone else with Ti Tmods finding the same?

Same here xpup. I haven't seen alot of buildup or battery pitting. Of course, I neglected to keep the bottom inside of the battery chamber clean and it put poor ol' Brass Beauty in the hospital. Will be making a contraption with sandpaper on the end to get down in there to keep it cleaned out per Dr. Tom [emoji6]

Brasso
2 small strips torn off an old t shirt
Pencil with eraser
Variable speed drill

Put pencil in drill eraser out
Dip rag or blot with Brasso
Push wet rag into mod with eraser
Turn slowly with drill
Repeat with dry rag to clean up excess

I now do this with alcohol and no drill on my 7075 baby. Works a treat. You could probably do the same between polishes.

... You guys are a riot, the solution to long throw is to have a thicker bottom on your button, forcing the contact lower, towards the battery, you don't have to add anything all that does is add vdrop n ask for trouble. . The reason I don't do it is it makes an auto fire more possible.

 Hey!, my bottom's big enough  , I wanted a quick & easy fix so I could get this baby Vapin'.

Tom, did you get my package???

. Other than it hits like a train and built like a battleship anything else the people have to say before I pull the trigger:thumb::nah::thumbs:

Yeah, after a review like that... What are you waiting for? You've convinced me a third is on the not too distant Horizon for me, looks like I need to sell a couple of others first.

I'm not a great fan of meticulously cleaning mods. My screws are lubricated by oversquonked e-juice and to clean the battery tube i use a bit of kitchen roll drowned in alcohol stuffed in there maybe once a week.

Battery-wise, i was using my batteries positive down to shorten the throw a little. This week i got some new ones, but bought the wrong ones and received flat-tops.
The good news is they work just fine and the 'correct' way up. They are Orbtronic SX30s and they are a bit longer than most.

Firing pin gets an alcohol rub once a week and some Deoxit if i can find it on my desk.

I ought to clean the outside of the Tmod which is now a bit grimy from dirt from my hands and crap at work, but life's too short for that. My car last got washed in Sept 2013.

Without a doubt. Been waiting a bit to get one. Was up in the air about style, color. Yatta yatta. Then he posted the deal and it easily became a no brainer for me Been using it for about 5 hours non stop. Which is saying something Already plotting my next one The build quality is awesome. So simplistic. And yet. So well put together. Every RDA I have put on top has shined as well. Including my super low builds This is going to be my every day driver for a while

Just got in from a beach vacation. And Tom was so awesome to make sure it made it to my house the same day I got home.

Quality mod
Quality service
Quality quality

I will hit my local Vape shop tomorrow to sale a few of these for Tom. No worries
