Yeah latley I have been sidetracked by the tc options, I ordered a sample of nichrome from stealth when I ordered some ni200 but this is what I got, never looked into it just looked at it, realized it was stupid small and tossed it in a drawer.

While close, Hempy's coils are twisted. Clapton's look more like this...Dual "one strand" coils built to 0.4 ohms. By using one strand, the power is distributed more evenly which helps to heat the coils faster. ( The first coil is freehand wrapped and set to the negative and positive post then the second is wrapped and set in the atty)

Currently running. 4 strands of 30 gauge. Twisted tighly Then 6 wraps on a 3mm Twice. For duals. Dials in at .22. And fires right up.
One trick tho. Is to take 4- 10 inch pieces. And as individuals take them and place them in the drill. And straighten them. Then after straightening all 4. Place them together in the drill for twisting

I switched to Nichrome 80, 30G, 28G & 26G, and haven't looked back. I've had two atties with the same coils since around February, I don't rebuild coils that perform well unless they get deformed or one of the legs break.
Loosen the locknut on the positive screw above the feedtube, then adjust the positive 510 screw from above... Tighten the locknut again

I'll throw a bit of Nichrome 80 28G & 26G in an envelope and ship it tomorrow.

awesome, thank you brother!! Iwanna run about a 3mmm maybe a tad smaller diameter cual coil build, how many wraps should i us to get between 0.2 and 0.3ohm ?
Make sure you straighten your wire out. It's an essential step when twisting multiple strands. Squidood and twistedmesses both have some great tutorials. Some of the builds are fairly easy. Some are way too complicated One thing is real tho. All their builds are focused on flavor. And the Vector has the post holes and deck size And air flow to accommodate fancy flavor builds.

Twist them tight. Individually. The. All together. Careful when doing all. Not too tight. It will want to kink. Torch it after the final twist. And then wrap 5 times. For 6 wraps. Twice. That will get you to .22
That's with a 3mm diameter. Make sure to put plenty of cotton in. If you juice the coils. You will see how

stick an alen key in the drill half the wire , hold it with the allen and hold it with a pliers, keep tension on it and spin it tilll it breakes....or as tight as you want it..
How do I know how tight I want it? (Gonna watch the vid, now)
