make sure the batt is all the way down in its hole,is what made my 18650 autofire.

They are all the way down, its the 1.5 mm height difference... I confirmed with 2 suppliers that the green batts are discontinued... Just wanted to make any future buyers and Tom aware of the issue...

I was able to source 2 of the green bats locally so I am good to go for now...

I have three of the green ones that work that are fairly new. Tom what else can be used? I know from experience that the MNKEs don't work.

IMR batteries appears to have the green Efests in stock. Good seller, I've purchased many batteries from him.

That's the correct file. It includes economy mode. A majority of people dont want theirs upgraded, and I don't have a windows machine either so I'm probably not going to upgrade all the boards. Unless I put my logo on them which I'm not sure about either.


Some of the effests and the mnke 26650's are taller I have been using the green ones . I wish there was a better 26650 ..

i have no clue. i would think it almost impossible to find out the real manufacture of any bat at this point. mkjo makes some really nice 26650 bats that will prob work in your mod. i have been using them for months and they work great. they fit in all my mods where the mnke do not.

i get them from my local b&m they have been great for me. tbev didnt have the same luck as me but run mine hard. i use them in a copper mech with .25 to .20 ohm coils. i use the 3500mah 35amp not the 4200mah
i can give you there number if you want to call and order them.

As for 26650 batts, I really like the KeepPower 50A's... RTD had them, not sure if they still do. Just note that 50A is not the continuous discharge rate (that's 30A). If you want the full specs on it, you can find it in my blog links.... but just so y'all know ahead of time, it's 67.5mm tall........ and kind of a button top. Meh... works in my tube mod, anyway...
