Got mine in today! I immediately vented a battery lol. when I turned the atty on I loosened the contact pin and it auto fired  Got her running up and good now! I love it! Hits as hard as my fire-pipes, couldn't ask for a better mod. totally in love already.

sounds like the length of shrink wrap on the + is a bit short, just rewrap it and stick the pin in the oven at about 100 C for a few minutes, then reassemble. I did that on my bronze

Even without the shrink-wrap you should be dove, that's just an extra nicity not a necessity it should be streight, if the bat is streight your all good!
^^^ This makes me a bit nervous. I'm about as mechanically inclined as are my dogs! How easy is it to accidentally loosen the contact pin? Cuz the only things I put in the oven are commonly known as food :)

I am just using single strand, single coil, kayfun style. I keep the coil high (the top of my coil is just below the top of the posts) so it doesn't crackle and pop. I am using 5 wraps, 26g Kanthal, 2.4mm on the T-mod. Comes in at 0.6ohms. When you get your regulated mods out, I recommend 8 wraps, 28g nickel, 2.4mm. If you have Rayon, it works well for Temperature Control as it wicks faster and keeps the coil cooler due to the juice in the wick. Good quality cotton (cotton bacon or similar) will do a great job, too. I do not recommend ceramic with TC at all. It cannot keep up and I hit the temp limit so fast I cannot enjoy the vape.
