Tom, you do amazing work. I just wanted to thank you publicly for everything. This thing is solid, definitely built to last. I can't see myself ever needing another squonker, unless it's another TMod.
Quick question though, what batteries is everyone using? Will button tops work well? I dont have any, just wondering how much it would shorten the throw.

That thing is sweet, brother! I use a variety of batteries in my Tmod, mostly flat tops VTCx and Samsung 25Rs. I do have a couple of Orbtronic 30A button tops (re-wrapped VTC4s, I believe) as well and they do indeed shorten the throw. I have occasional firing issues with my flat tops but none at all with the Orbtronics. I've been meaning to buy a few for dedicated Tmod usage.
And, your juice should be in your mailbox when you get home.
I've gotta note, coffeebum is working on the tmod case. If I'm not mistaken, Russ has a Reo grand case. The girl will fit the reo case, the boy or the mix will probably not. For a girl, though, it's excellent
There are two types of belt attachments that come with mine - one that your belt passes thru and one that clips on. The clips (both types) are heavy duty - no spinning phone case stuff here man. I mean solid. The whole case and hardware / fasteners really are gun grade stuff. I like the clip on and just clip it on my nikes and its game on. I rarely wear a belt but even if I do, I'm a clip type of guy.
The felt lined is really plush and awesome - it offers that cushy feel for either delicate finishes or when you won't be in rough / dirty environments. The non felt is smooth and gentle and would also serve to protect the finish on the mod. Either can be tightened or loosened for the level of grip you want on your mod from super tight to slide in and out with zero resistance. I have adjusted mine to hold the mod rather tight than finger it up from the bottom and grab it with the same hand.
I will use the non felt for rough duty and the felt for casual duty. Correct - carbon fiber look is in the left.

Juice came in as well brother! I appreciate it, hope yours made it safe as well. I'm gonna get me some button tops to try, I've got an HE4 in it now, and it seems like it doesn't make the great contact on it. Never tried Orbtronics, what are they rated?

I had the same problem with VTC5's and 25r's, slight downward bend in the brass bar... Now all my batteries fire all the time... Longer throw with flat tops, shorter with buttons, but 100% contact
My juice arrived also, thanks. The Orbs are 30A. They are rewrapped VTC4s, I'm pretty sure. Much better wrap than the OEM Sonys.

I want to say (in a high school valley girl voice) that I hate you for owning this awesome cool as bells holster and Tmod but I like you too much to say such a thing! That might be this falls must have accessory.
I'm cutting the tops off of them right now . Takes a long time, I have to cut them really slow in the bandsaw so I can keep the tolerances tight between the top and the deck of the bottom.
