It's like June every month now......

I heard a super funny joke on Facebook yesterday... A guy said he squonks to save money vs Smoking.... I cried laughing... The sad thing is he was serious.....

As they say "Never a truer word spoken"! Ive never recovered from June, my vape budget has become my main fund each month, use to be the mortgage but that seems like pocket money right now [emoji16]

i hear that! i really should just get off the internet. my local vape shops have nothing im interested in at all so i am safe there. lol

LOL! I am sure all of us have spent a years worth of cigarette money in a single vaping month. At least once.

And the problem is there is no sign of letting up. Our modders are spoiling us, saying no or I think I'll give this one a miss is becoming almost impossible lol

I've had a pretty good run lately. 2 lots of modding supplies both got here in a week. So did something off ebay, which I forget what it actually was

I know what you mean. I spent more now than I would have if I was smoking.

To break even with smoking I'd have to vape another 5 years without buying anything, and I just about could except for batteries & VG/PG to mix my juices... 2 kilos of Hemp Fiber and I don't change coils until necessary, I have 5 atties with 6+ month-old coils that still rock hard.

lol, i vape extracts, which kill coils. So I change weekly, and buy wire in 100 foot rolls, that don't last long enough

lol, i vape extracts, which kill coils. So I change weekly, and buy wire in 100 foot rolls, that don't last long enough

I extract my own Tobacco's and have found spaced coils, a bit further apart than I normally do, gunk at a much slower rate than contact coils regardless of the ID, higher wattage also seem to reduce the gunk factor.

I've also noticed since I've switched to Nichrome 80, my coil leads aren't as prone to breaking at the posts after dry burning the coils.

I reserve contact coils for my fruits, custards, desserts & the occasional unflavored juices where gunking isn't as rapid as with Tobacco's.

higher wattage also seem to reduce the gunk factor.

I generally run my extracts at 10% and find that the gunk factor is almost non existent at <50 Watts regardless of the type of coil I use
