I'm still waiting to hear back from Tom regarding shipment of my dually too. He told me it was all packed up and ready to go. I hope it gets shipped out soon!
If you don't mind me asking how long has it been since you ordered your mod?

I ordered a Micro & Dually the End of November and expected a 5-6 week wait since3 the Dually & Micro needed to be built. Besides, there was that little Holiday that is called Christmas which causes extra chaos with the Postal System, and the necessary shopping we do to celebrate... I've never not received my Tmods, sometimes they can be delayed but I don't worry over the uncontrollable things in life.

I'm not too worried about it either - I guess I'm just getting impatient, haha. I am just really excited to receive this mod from Tom. This is my first squonk mod, and I'm really eager to get started!

I understand, bought my first B-F Mod ~2 years ago and it felt like forever to get my hands on it... been full-time B-Fing since my first T-Mod ~8-9 months ago.

This is my first squonk mod

Oh crap, you just ruined yourself for anything lesser. Once you get it set up and running right it's just a rock-solid squonker without any drama. Easy to service by yourself and ultimately repairable once you wear it out (I'd say that'll take years from my 5-6 months with one).

You aren't going to like very many squonkers at a lower price point after using a t-mod. And he will deliver but you have to remember this is a jobby for him, he's got a whole other gig full-time.

I'm sorry for the delay guys, I had a lot of crap, besides a lot of people I had to entertain for a week of Christmas that just left. I also hit myself in the face w a pipe and had to make 5 different trips to the dentist to get my face put back together and my teeth fixed. I also had am to get new air compressor that broke, that slowed down everything for a week prior to that. I had a bunch of Duallys and micros that were already built but I have to spend as much time as I have on the sx mods. If I have a dual that's ordered as well I wait till I have to paint an sx mod the same color and do the Dually at the same time....to save time, it's simply giving priority to the sx guys, and getting the others finished without taking away from them. Sx mods are all painted now and on their first stage of curing , I have added time to the curing process because the weather has gotten colder and I want to make sure they are totally cured, but I have to fo each one on three stages. The reason I do it this way is that it encapsulates the board and the wiring so it's not allowed to move, eliminating wired coming lose and solder joints breaking, in addition to acting as a total shock absorber and securing the faceplates flush and clean w/ no screws.

@Hyzer88 I don't think we've spoken here, I'm not familiar with your screen name, shoot me an email, I'm pretty sure your mods been sent already.

Quick question guys: What is the Torx head size up top? T8? Or is it a Torx Plus head?
It's a t10 torx, I recommend getting a t10 torx to 1/4 rachet attachment. It's what I carry.

Home Depot doesn't have them lowes does, or the other way around. Lots of ppl like the hurdy ones too, I think they are great but too big to carry, when I'm out I use that one pictured or I carry one I made for a Keychain on my keys, if some people want some for their Keychain I'll make them, just let me know.

Thanks buddy I really appreciate the kind words, and I truly apologize for lagging and thank you all for handing in with me.

In about a week, maybe two I expect to have stock of every mod I make, prepped for final finishing. I should be able to guarentee a ten day turnaround on all mods , some crazy custom stuff may take a little longer but I will have pretty outrageous capabilities soon. I've been in the learning stage for a while, some I got this new machine, as well as the healing stage with my broken neck but I'm pretty good at the machine now and hopefully I'll be feeling better everyday as well.
Thank you guys again, I wouldn't be building mods if it wasn't for you!

Can I just say here - Tom is one of the Good Guys...and seriously so. I asked him a couple of questions on Christmas Eve and ordered one of his Mods that night. First thing in the morning I Paypal'led him the money BUT for some reason (probably me) it went into the wrong account. On Tom's advice I cancelled the Payment and said "No Hurry to make the thing" I'll wait til the money comes back into my account and try again. He still went ahead and made the mod for me and has just posted it off - though he still hasn't been paid.

You don't get many folk like that!

Damn Tom that is terrible about the pipe hitting you and what you are going through. I think it speaks volumes that you are dealing with all that and still trying to get orders taken care of for all your customers!

Here is hoping your recovery goes well and that you have a better 2016!!!

now i know whats happend to Tom i can definitly understand gettin behind and feel like i need to clarify that Tom is a rightous fella and has always delivered my T-Mods to me.i know sometimes we might think Tom needs to let us know every lil thing thats going on...but i even forget he is a 1 man show and has a day job plus does all the badash work we see on here.if we had him posting every pic of every mod we would never get any of our stuff built for sure!i for 1 didnt realize how much effort it takes to make one of these T-Mods so if anyone here hasnt taken the time to go watch some vids of Tom just doing the scalloped squonkholes...please take a few mins and go watch it and then X that by however many he does in a week!not to mention he will be deaf from the screaming aluminium...lol!anyways im gonna quit bein a fanboy if thats what some ppl call it,i call it a satisfied customer stating his opinion.yes i still want mysiht yesterday like everyone else but i do know that when i get my T-Mod i wont have to buy a rebuild kit or have the 510 replaced....ever.maybe a squonkpin will break...because i dropped it but ive only had my T-mods break because of user error....ME effin it up...lol.im done have a happy new years everyone!!!-Rick

I understand and was just trying to gently remind those of us waiting, sometimes the unexpected pops up. Knowing Tom, he won't come on and gripe, but try to overcome & deliver as close to the promised time as possible... it's easier for rude & I to be patient we have a few to play with, Hyzer88 you'll be starting the New Year with a superb TMOD, what Atty you plan on using?
