They look much better in real life - quite good actually. The screen refresh rate made them look a little wonky in the pics. But, well done, sir!
I had a feeling the one with the logo would look nasty. The font is just too small and its very stylized. A more simple font would look better. Try this one. Its rendered at a higher quality.

Could be wrong but I think it has to be black background. Also, it has to be 128x32 pixels. If you can have a white background I'll make one to see if the font looks better

Mota, when I was playing with Escribe, it seemed to have a button to go from black background to white background. I can't remember if it was just for the text though.
White background is all good. DNA200 screen is black and white, doesn't matter which is the background and which is the graphic/text. It will reduce any grayscale elements to black and white which is why some graphics don't look great.
I just made one with white background but the text doesnt look as good. The 2nd one I posted above might be the best I can do. Try that one and see if it looks any better. I might try one more with the text just a little bigger though.
O.K so...after studying the evolve material and watching the tutorial start to finish till my head hurt and ordering spools of NiFe from Germany, I slapped the Aeronaut on the LBC with the go to ni200 build with top air wide open, loaded it up with Pop Corn Man, cranked this baby up to 50 watts and 480 degrees and let it rip. The instant conclusion? With out a doubt, this thing is a fricken monster!! Great job Tom! I think I'm in love...

yeah if i aint ...... at the p/o its something...LMAO!i have a pair of dna200 i built myself so im sure this will really make me feel like crap on my build skills...lol.but hey i did mine with a drill and a file.so i wont be too hard on myself.ha ha.if i remember he said a long time ago he would get them out on friday but hey ive been wrong before and with all the irons in the fire he has im sure he is busy when he is sleeping..lol.i may never enen use the cam-r for fear of messing it up.just put it on a shelf and look at it...lol.maybe take a picture so when i do scratch/drop or whatever ill know what it used to look like.ha ha

I ordered the wrong thing. They are exactly the same as the first 20 just smooth on the top. What I like about these (and the ones I was using before) is they will accept a wider bushing; 8mm vs 7mm like everyone else uses. I'm all set up with peek and all the threading equipment and gadgets to make 8mm work, 7mm would require retooling, now if I could just find a 510 with a m8 X 1.0mm threaded throat..... 8x 0.50 thread is a pain. The 510s by them selves take almost as long to build as the rest of the mod all together. I will look into the new one that Inspects and Nautilus keep hounding me about...... Lol
