db....where did you get that green drip tip?? I have a green LBC and think I need that tip!! thanx

Was in the case with the Cap. Snagged the other green on Flea Pay.

Not anymore

Another Catfish success...:thumb:

That sound delicious!!! AND, it's not cheep. Wish they had a coupon code. Have you tried others from there.

Have tried several. All quality. Currently dripping Sedation and Bliss.

I think there's a 12 Step program to fix dat :p

Is there a problem? :D

Yes. It starts like this:
Step 1) Buy another mod
Step 2) Buy another atty for the mod from step 1
Step 3) Buy a drip tip to match the atty and mod in steps 1 and 2.
Step 4) Choose a juice to be dedicated to the mod in step 1
Repeat steps 1-4 two more times.

Love that girl! P has it wired. Hello my dear !

From the afternoon pooch run around the lake. :)

Hi Tom,
My LBC arrived in perfect condition and I'm loving it. Pics and video(?) to follow. Many thanks to you. It was hard focusing on work today because I just wanted to play with my new toy.

Quick question for people who use TC, since I am a complete noob. I get that increasing Watts just gets you to the temperature limit faster. What does varying the Ohms of your build do? If I'm vaping at 40W with the LBC set at 420F, how does the vape differ if I have a .5 Ohm coil compared to a 1.0 Ohm coil?

Oh, and I forgot to add,
My DIY Reueleaux DNA133 Squonker (WIP)

Hey @BobC your show & tell is timely since I was coming to report or give two quick TIPS.

(1) I have shied from SS 316L since the "TC Beyond Ni 200..." settled down for reasons of reliability. Getting ready to sort and dispose of a plethora of wire types I found 200 meters of 24 awg 316L from Zivipf (Germany).

Because I trust Zivipf, absolutely, thought I'd revisit SS. 10-wrap, 3mm, came in at a ridiculously high Ω's reading, throwing my Reuleaux into power mode.

Eventually I discovered I had a loose post on the SnapDragon, converted from the original (difficult to coil) posts. It's a breeze with the velocity posts. 8-wraps, 3mm, 0.26 Ω. Vaping like a champ...

Fixed the post (needed proper tightening at the base) and disappeared the "won't go into TC" conundrum, made famous by a DNA 200 denier in the just mention thread.

(2) All of the DNA 40 caveats apply to the 200, namely all connections MUST be tight.

2 things to consider,
the board has to detect ohm changes down to hundredths of an ohm, so robust connections,
2nd, the 510 out & ground wires need to be thick (no added resistance)

In the Reueleaux conversion, I replaced all wires, using 14g for the 510 connections to the board

Hey LBC owners,
Has anyone found a closed cap that fits the extra bottle? I like to carry a second bottle sealed up so I can swap bottles when the one in the LBC empties during the day. I'm out on the road all day.
I stick a stainless steel roofing nail in the tubing, works perfectly.

Loaded question there with a crap load of variables. Coil material, wire diameter, coil diameter when running TC? O.5- 1.0 ohm coils? Would like to think you are running on straight up power. If you are asking about the difference in the vape, that's another can of worms. My question to you would be, What range of build and style works for you now? Any experience with TC as of yet? and the last one being, where do you want to be?

The LBC is a Hot Rod for sure. The cool factor is that it can be built to cruise or be built for pedal to the metal.

I spent three days testing the versatility of the Charm, as it effortlessly goes from one to dual, to dual vertical, to four 2mm coils.

The upper and lower air ducts enable anything from tootlepuffing to cloud chasing at 11 to 75 watts (all I can handle)

I only tested in TC mode on a DNA200 (Reueleaux 133 - see above) and Turbo's DNA75, with SS316L 26g, SS316L 26/32 Claptons, 26g NiFe30 and 26g NiFe 48

All coils performed great in TC, but you have to adjust both upper and lower air ducts to achieve your optimal vape in each configuration.

You know me, I'm known for constant atty switching to accommodate my vaping mood at a given moment,

I haven't switched an atty in a week

P.S I only vape SS in power mode, either 26G or the 26/32 Clapton

@distortoblotto I received two new "hats", as you called the, from Relentless DT today, one blue, the other black.

It may be merely subjective or a placebo but I 'seem' to get better flavor & vapor with these tips on the Goon. (In fact, I know I do.) My guess is that they provide a better seal than the thin Delrin.

What say you?

Stands to reason...You'll be surprised to see that the Relentless wide hat has a smaller bore then stock. Check it out...;)
