Anyone have comments about the nipple rda? I'm taking my sweet time to fill out a doc for either the maker or nipple, but want to make sure it's the one I'm gung ho for.

Probably going to be more towards the end of week before people will have both. I have both ordered. Sloth or some others may have a Maker sooner. I'll definitely be sure to post & let you know what I think when I get them.

I have an authentic nipple (but then, don't we all? ).

I really like it for moderate-air beefy single vertical coil builds. There are two 3-ish mm air holes that are binary - either open or plugged with screws, and I find a single vertical tiger wire coil (3mm ID) in the .4-ish ohm range gets me great flavour with both holes open.

It's not the airiest of atties, which is to my liking, but works for DL'ing.

It's easy to build as verticals, horizontals not so much (center pin is raised with gnarled nut to capture wire). Duals are tricker than a single due to the post placement (I find).

It has also never, ever leaked on me, most likely due to the air hole height.

This one is one of four in my current everyday rotation.

I spent the day at work getting intimate with the S4. Yep, it's bottom air which makes it susceptible to being over squonked, but the Catfish did an excellent job. All it takes is a light squeeze and hold to let the wicking do it's thing. Throughout the day I kept thinking that this thing needs big power ( dna200?) so when I got home I stuffed it with extra cotton, dropped on my gifted Kooper, loaded it with a mellow liquid and cranked it up wide open. My suspicions where right, this thing is a monster! On a fresh 18650 @ 0.4 the power come out to 44w. At 0.4 @ 60w and it certainly comes alive...

Wetted it up again and took a quick pull @ 80w and ...but I turned it right back down... It'll take the power, but it'll need a different build.

Thanks so much for the info. Thanks too @Unior for posting back to me with those updates. I love the looks of it, and the small-ish chamber looks like it will be right on the money flavor wise. I was interested in it because of the airflow as well, for I don't use anything with larger than 1 2mm hole open for single coils. Maybe for dual coils on this I can get a little daring and crank out 2 of them . Or maybe I can make my first 'exotic' single cool with it. Won't that be a hoot. I don't know if I should fork out the cash for an authentic or just get the clone from Tom. Authentic is 150, yeah? I already bought an Origen 16 to start my squonking adventures with.
