Huzzah! Just sourced a supplier for 30A 20700's in Canada. All set to jump into the fray with round 2.

I expect a list for such a thing would be coming up soon-ish?

Evidently EFest is now doing a 20700 battery as well.
Just got an email last night from them. I'd wait to see the Mooch report on them though. The IJoys compared very well to the Panasonic 20700A. No review of the efest yet though. I can't wait to see if the 21700 will fit. I'm betting they will.

I'm especially interested in at what percentage of battery does it trigger the blinking low battery icon and at what watt setting. I have both IJoys and the red Panasonic 20700A and from what I can tell the ampacity is the same (both will fire 50w at 3%) but the ijoy might be 50mah less. Very close.

Roger, I'll pull it down and report back. Right now I'm hitting it pretty hard. Seems to be dropping the percentage about 1% per pull, but recovers a bit after it sits.

Edit: it seems to have stabilized a bit @ 70%.

The iJoy's were what I could source from a non-sketchy vendor. One place had the B's for $23 each

Tesla's have apparently switched to this format, so that'll prolly mean either they'll be in plentiful supply or all snapped up by Musk.

Evidently the Goon 1.5 drops Friday should me do a run? I have been kicking around the concept of an Ultem single coil reducer for the Goon. It turns out the new goon is built off the same deck prints as the old goon but uses stainless posts, plates, and better hardware so if I did start making the SCRs they would work for both the old and the new version. I have had the Goon SCR in my plans for months but it's one of those projects that got pushed to the side in favor of the LBC Jr. Who is feeling a single coil reduced Goon?

YES! In for 3 or 4 Goon SCRs.

One full bottle empty using the "B", the resistance jumped from .42 to .46 during the run. Battery icon blinking.

( 3.21 volts when placed in the charger)

Decided to go back to single coil, so I wrapped some of the Ti wire I got in & put it in the ChiNarda. 28g, 5 wrap spaced, 3mm ID. Wicked with rayon. Coming in at 5.3. So I'll be testing the B cell tomorrow with that build.
