Injection molded... If I were a wiser man.... injection molded polycarbonate would be nearly un breakable and ready to build out of the box. It takes hours to re-machine all the flanges and grind these things smooth.Quick update from Midwest Vapor Expo. There were two Jr's and an LBC (that I knew of) floating around the room yesterday. The attention garnered by the Jr I was escorting was very favorable. Much was made of the 20700 format, but the fit and finish garnered the most commentary. Magnetized plates were a win, and upon learning of threaded inserts and continuous carbon filament infused nylon, many were incredulous that this was a printed mod. The one 3D printing booth proprietor almost got out his magnifying glass for an intense examination. He had a hard time believing that the Jr was printed... I think he thought that it was injection molded. Overall the reception was very good, and I was proud to be the bearer of such a fine mod. You got a winner here, Tom!

Yeah we are going to need to have a catfish reunion where we could all meet up. Handed out all the stickers you sent, I don't thank I saw one descent squonk mod . I just recently picked up a zion made by Armageddon , it's a nice single coil bf atty with a deep well only issue I've had is the hole in the pin is too small so I happen to meet him at the meet and get to talking with him about bf'd atties and he was just a complete and utter ......, telling me how he's been doing his own pins for himself and if the squonk hole was bigger it would fill the chamber and flood it where as I continued to explain how it would drain back to the bottle. I then ask what mod he uses and he says I'm bout to get a bolt, which he doesn't even know who makes them. Rant over just chaps my ... when some wannabe tries to cash in on the back of someone like you who truly revolutionized the process and all I was doing was trying to give him some creative criticism.I'm jealous... I would have loved to meet both of you.
Btw. I finally finished my LBC jr 75c. Honestly I'm not as impressed as I though I would be. The screen is 4x thicker than the DNA75which leaves almost zero room between the screen and the board and the screen feels super fragile all for 3volts and old sx350 shaped screen.
I have decided I'm going to do a micro mech 20700 with the same material as the LBC jr with top shelf guts.
Stickers! <facepalm> Tom, if my package is not sealed up yet, would you throw a couple/few stickers in please?
Mike, you're right, apart from you, I did not see a single squonk worthy of the name the whole time I was there.
All the modders I talked to were seriously impressed with the Jr though.
One thing I did come across yesterday that made me happy was the silicon 20700 battery sleeve.
I found it at the BJ box mods/ Broadside booth, and convinced them to sell me one. Can't find them on their website, but at least we know they exist.
