But there is this option if you want to deal with shipping from sunbox:

Disregard the mod being dirty... that is the first production LBC jr and has been used for a minimum of 16 hrs per day since its birth. This mod has taken a beating though I did just fry the chip last night.

Man both of those has that perfect ratio of meaty tires to vehicle ratio.

Thanks man. Those are 37's on 17's, great off-road but 10" of air and rubber makes for a floaty ride. The next set will be super wide 36's on 20's; more traction less float on the street. On a 4800#Jeep it's not bad but this truck is 7500# with 600hp on the way to 800hp and ridiculous torque.

Ive heard of the floaty ride but never have had the chance to drove one. My first vehicle was my Grandpa's first gen Ram. Ever since then a grail for me was a well done Cummins old 250.

I just noticed your in Maryland. I am currently in VA. But this Monday and Tuesday I was in Frederick Md for work. I then had to drive to Sterling Va. I'm in Hernden today and I fly back to Tx tomorrow morning. That was a squirrely drive at night MD to VA, no shoulder and opposite lane blinding lights.

Lol... I live 10 miles south of Frederick. Where were you driving on one lane road to Frederick? 270 is 6 plus lanes each way and will be 8-10 lanes each way in the next 10 years. Not bragging' trust me on that. Have I mentioned I miss Las Vegas in the last hour? Car culture, no traffic, high hourly wage, no state taxes (they will fee ef you to death though) I miss Vegas.... DC sucks....

It just dawned on me you were driving through the construction zone between Frederick and Gaithersburg. That can certainly be unnerving. Fun fact: Construction zones just like that one exist here year around for decades.

I assume you have used that bottle? How is it toward the bottom? I printed a mod for a bottle about that size and found the squonk time got really long toward the bottom of the bottle but it was LDPE instead of silicone.

Which one? The bigger one? I haven’t yet. I would imagine you have to squeeze it pretty hard towards the end due to the amount of air that must compress before forcing the juice up the tube. The more I think about it the cons are starting to overwhelm the pros on this bottle. I love the concept but it almost needs to be on the end of the mod vs the middle of the mod in the current layout. There is a possibility of doing the mod with a very open bottle on the edge with a flat top (getting away from the sunbox thumb choil/angle) this would also leave the 510 on the far side (away from the board/fire button) that IMO would feel awkward in use. Personally I prefer a centered 510. The open design would also exacerbate the issue of long squonk time due to the size and structural integrity of the silicone. Currently I’m playing with a “Palm” layout with the board and battery stacked back to back and the bottle on the edge. I’m afraid with the extra depth required for the 20700/21700 vs the 18650 on the Palm without making it feel like a Releaux.

The construction area sounds like it. I mostly used gps, not positive about the names. It was frederick to Sterling Va. We have similar roads here in tx but they have much more room. Here they are farm to market roads. 50mph but a shoulder, a bit wider median, and mostly flat. Those darn hills made the oncoming road dissapear from oncomming headlights. Beautiful area, I loved the weather. A bit nippy in the morning but daytime was awesome. Also it was neat seeing the colored leaves. Here we have green and dead brown.

Ahhh. Your gps sent you the back way. You went rt28 to rt15 to 340. Yes very much farm roads. That’s the shortcut but it all depends on who is in front of you as passing lanes are few and far between.

Working on the black Ultem buttons for them right now. I don’t believe I asked you though; would you like natural Ultem, black Ultem, clear, or stainless buttons? I had planned on using black Ultem but the choice is yours. I have all the materials in stock to make them.

If you have enough material I'd like the black Ultem buttons on both mods! [emoji16]

I'm good for 3 sets of black Ultem buttons.

I had already planned on black buttons on yours. I’m planning to ship your Black LBC jr and batteries tomorrow. The Ultem s are still in progress.

Let me get caught up and we will talk about parts. Fair enough? I need to get a few mods out before the torches and pitchforks start coming out. I’m just now getting back at it. The thumb still hurts like a mother when it bumps the spinning mill chuck but I can only stall for so long.

Sounds awesome! I'll go ahead and get an atty ready for arrival day, and dust off a battery charger.

I have a mystery leak. I picked up my LBC after not using it for a few days and there was juice all over the bottom. I cleaned it all off, removed the bottle to check it...it's good.

I let it sit for a few minutes and saw where the juice is coming from

I can't understand how juice is coming from there. Any ideas?
UPDATE: It was the bottle. A tiny crack along the seam on the bottom. Lucky Tom sent a spare and even luckier that I could find it.

Now, I'm going to need more bottles as spares. Tom, can we arrange this? Can you send a couple spare bottles when you send my new LBC?

No problem. I hate those phantom leaks also.
