Man, that's a bigazz coil running up in there! I've done that very same thing in both a Stumpy and a Thump, minus a wrap or two. Glad to see that those huge holes are NOT airflow but rather for the mandrel.
If I recall correctly that mess was parallel 6 wrap coils. I was trying to get my resistance down to see if it helped battery life and to give me a little more wattage range before crashing into the 6.2v cap of the Dna75 Classic as I mentioned it was a failure.

I would GUESS it's the same, but I don't have a 24, so I can't be certain...and they list them as 2 separate items on their site, so maybe not!!

Crazy question as I have never tried the Flave 22mm: Will the flave22 drip tip fit the Flave 24mm? I’d love to have a few of the Ti tips. I will probably have to make them myself but I thought I would ask.

Or at least a pic of the washing machine? Just to be sure it’s o.k.
I was thinking the same thing I'm kinda of missing it, I've been seeing mods on that thing for 3 years. I think Tom needs to get some catfish stickers on it and make it the official mascot.

Thanks for your patience Beez and Havok but I believe you will be pleasantly surprised. I’m re-working the negative connection to the board. (The negative connection between the battery, 510, and board keeps me up at night on how to perfect it). Ever since the departure from solid aluminum blocks to non conductive or in the case of the carbon fiber semi-conductive the perfect ground has caused me many sleepless nights. It’s an obsession and a big part of the reason these mods will run so long on a single cell but there is always room for improvement. My goal is to meet or exceed the conductivity of aluminum with silver plates and a direct connection to the board. The 2 3d Ultem Mods will have the new system. All of the parts and tooling arrived yesterday after a revelation last week that lead me to my current concept. I wanted to do this on these 2 mods in particular so the 2 new owners could compare the new (let’s call it gen4) connection in daily use to the previous (gen3) version. Both use heavy gauge silver plates but the gen4 will use a threaded insert (inside and out) to make the actual connection to the board where the gen3 is more of a compression mount system. Some people obsess over their cars, others obsess over their money, I obsess over the LBC Jr. enjoy my obsession. Now if I could find trillium copper #0-80 screws..... The obsession continues.
Ps: If you are aware of a source of trillium copper tiny screws please let me know. Silver is too soft and weak, brass is also to weak..... see what I mean?

What’s ironic is the fact that I loathe that overpriced washing machine more than you will ever know. That machine is ultimately the worst of both worlds. Horizontal (old format like mine) have always had balance issues with uneven loads but that capacity and spin speed were low enough it could be corrected pretty easily. On the new machines with big brushless motors the spin speed is much faster making the out of balance issue nearly impossible to work around. I don’t believe this is such an issue with the vertical machines simply because the machine can balance the loads via regulating the drum speed at the start. Problems with the format and my general disdain of LG products it does make a great place to take pics due to the reflection of,the polished stainless steel drum underneath the Pyrex lid. So ultimately I have a $1300 mod stand as that’s the only job it does impeccably. At some point this machine will be replaced by a stacking vertical Samsung set; the date of which will be immediately predicated by and upcoming fit of rage which will result in a large metal object being hurled through the Pyrex lid and several colorful obscenities strung together shrieked simultaneously will be it’s ultimate demise. Consumer reports best washing machine of 2013 my keister! Rant off....

Hey Tom, been awhile. You have a link to the new mod you speak of?
That mod is a one off that was built around a specific battery. The battery which I found to work well was rated poorly but Mooch. The mod is unique and made it through my personal testing with flying colors but I just didn’t want to have Mooch’s review thrown in my face at every turn so the concept was scrapped.

Tom, your obsession over mod creation has always worked out to all our benefit! No hurries here, I'd much rather a master work his magic.

I concur, with just your mods I have one for everyday and that doesn't even come close to the completely insane number of mods in general that I own so no rush here either.

I am slowly transitioning over to Samsung or GE Profile on all of my appliances. Please let me know if you have any issues that would color your decisions for or against Samsung appliances. Now back to the ecig world.

As to the 3D Ultem LBC jr: The material is a lot stronger than I originally recognized. The bodies have been through the hardest parts of the building process with not so much as a warning creak or squeak with the often violent process of threading and forcing the 510’s into place with enough force and torque to be certain they will not unthread at a later date as well as make a very strong connection to the negative (OCD alert). The very next time I’m in the shop I will be making the board to buss connectors and they will be nearly done.

When we moved a couple years ago to our new house we bought all Samsung appliances and I have to say I'm impressed no issues as of yet and they seem very sturdy and durable.

Now back to this sweet piece of beauty can't wait to have an ultem lbc Jr. Have a great Christmas and New Year's Tom and all the rest of the catfish faithful.
