I guess I have to say "ditto". I tried Tamarin D' oh ..Palchouli ..Ooples & Boonoonoos ...
OMFG It's Chocolate, and Mayan Mocha.
All of my juices steep for at least a month (I mix well ahead of myself)
I tried them all going from low, to 10%
They all ended up being PIF except the Mayan Mocha, which has an "interesting flavor", and I'll keep playing with it.
Everyone's taste buds are different I guess, since these all had good reviews .. just not for me.
Are you adding any sweetner? I use 2-2.5% of the 5% sucralose solution. I find most flavoring to "raw" without it.

Since we're talking about NN flavors....has anyone tried Bry4 or Honey tobacco?
I have the Honey Tobacco. Cat piss is the only thing I taste. But I can't stand honey flavoring in anything. If you like honey, apparently it is really really good according to reviews. Seriously, if anyone wants my 10mL bottle, I'll send it for free.

Yep, I usually make a tester that's big enough to be able to add more flavoring, sweetener, or to dilute it, even add saline ...but, my taste buds didn't come back so good after 56 years of smoking, so I keep what I like, and can taste, and PIF the rest.
In fact, a "friend" of yours just got a big bag with about 32 bottles of flavoring ... the latest "nopes" and is finding some flavors he said he would never thought of buying ... the "....." were in there :p
At least they don't get wasted.

Alway much smoother after cooking and scrambling.
I don't think I've ever tried a juice I mix "fresh"
I mix WAY ahead of my vaping ability, so everything is at least 4 weeks old.
I know the fruits don't need it so much, but they get it anyway.
Now, the tobacco's, they absolutely bask in the steeping.

You're not alone Slots, I love NN nicbase but not a fan of their flavors. Though I wanted to like the vanilla so bad...smells reaaaaally divine.

I only steep something when I get bored and move onto another flavor for a bit, really...but I do sometimes give 'em a good heat steep from the get-go. I guess vaping UFNB for a long time just made it such that I enjoy my flavors right off the bat or something...it's not that they don't improve with time, or that I don't have patience...but my flavors, even tobaccos, are pretty much vaped immediately and really enjoy them :)

ETA not to say I haven't tried my flavors steeped. My NN flavors steeped for a couple months before I gave up.

Vanilla ??? ...like you, I would LOVE to find a good one... tried them all, even the Shisha. :(
Since our "smellers" give us the ability to taste, how can it "smell" so good, and have no taste

IMO there are 2 distinct groups of Vapers. Those that live for vanilla and those that despise vanilla. As someone that loathes vanilla in any way finding juices without vanilla and don't taste like cheap candy is hard. Most commercially available juices have a vanilla base with their labeled flavors on top of that. I can taste that base no matter how little is there. Asbestos whom is also a juice maker (so to speak) would argue for hours on end about this. He lives and breathes all that is vanilla but I do not. Those who love juices with a vanilla base IMO will never be happy with Nude Nic flavors, but this is the reason I find so much right with nude nic; all the flavor without the vanilla. If you have ever used GVC and didn't feel a sudden urge to vomit NN probably won't serve you well. I will say Asbestos had a way with vanilla and although he has moved on from ECF I'm pretty sure I could get him to send me a recipe for a great vanilla base and I will post the recipe if you desire (with permission of course). I would venture that most of you that didn't care for nude nic flavors would find new joy in them with a well made vanilla base instead of an unflavored base. Most people don't even notice the vanilla but it gives you flavors much more depth

You're typically right. We are more alike than you may think though. I'm not a huge vanilla fan either. Nicoticket nails it IMO but I don't vape premium vendors anymore. anything custard - like I find atrocious, just awful. I'm a straight tobacco guy mostly.

I've found a few decent vanilla I like alright but my juices are mostly 100% tobacco. Sometimes something else with tobacco. And then there's my sloffle... :D

IMO NN vanilla would be amazing if not for the horrific patchouli.

I bought a bottle of GVC .. tried it once, and it's still in the cupboard.
I have lousy taste buds, but even with that, it was WAYYY to "rich" for me.
I refuse to use over 18% flavoring, and try to stay around 10 to 15% at the most .. it hard to find flavors strong enough to stay in that range... actually I use a lot of "solo" flavors...sometimes with one of the assorted creams, and I'm happy. I even like it without flavoring.
That's interesting about the vanilla base .. didn't know that
An "Asbestos" base recipe sounds good. A few drops of that could improve any solo flavor (maybe)
Now that you mentioned it, I'll try adding a tad of the GVC to some of my mixes ..thanks for the idea.

So you CAN actually taste the Patchouli? Eff that then.

Best base - 13% Capella Vanilla Custard V1, 3% TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. Good as is, but an excellent vanilla base.

Best Vanilla Custard
13% Cap VC V1, 3% TFA VBIC, 1.5% TFA Dulce De Leche

Nilla Nuts (everyones favorite) 13% Cap VC V1, 3% TFA VBIC, 2.5% TFA Hazelnut

Eta: Asbestos also told me GVC is actually 25% Vanilla. No wonder I don't like it.

Oh yes, sure can. Eff it brother. Now, some say it fades with steeping - that is true. But I'm a bit of a super taster I believe. ANY of that taste and it's horrible.

I've had Asbestos juices, he is a kind soul. For what they are - not bad...but Capellas...suffice to say, anything Capellas...and I run for the hills.
