Tom, I'll have a Hobo Drifter inbound shortly. I know Hoberto is making a BF kit for the Drifter but I may not be able to wait. Willing to do a send in if necessary?
I am interested in this also as I have one on the way also

That is the first I had heard of it. Looks pretty good. Single or dual. Leak proof always a plus. $70 awesome! Especially when a lot of these newer atties aren't $100 but $100 plus. Nice to see this, stillare, maker well below that.
I was on a list for a No Pity but got off because it was going to end up $140 & I just wasn't in love with it. Didn't realize it was so tall at first. Also just got a predator(which was a sh*tload even at RRP) BTW I have only built once with a side single 28g a lot of people were raving over. Didn't do it for me. Very anemic. Going to try a nice big spaced center coil & see what happens. And then maybe some duals. It's going to have to do a lot better for me to justify keeping it

Sure... I actually consulted with Hoberto on bottom feeding the The Drifter.... We'll see if he takes my advice. His initial plan was to use the same pin he has used in the past which is the same as a stock Narda BF pin with a #60(1mm) bore which historically hasn't drained or squonked well. I begged him to use an m3 pin with a 1.7mm (#51) bore.
Btw if you bought a Narda from me it has a #54 bore which I feel is the smallest bore that will still squonk and drain properly. I tried to get drifters but Hoberto is keeping them in house for now. For him to do a "BF kit" it will require a new center post to be made and pressed in. It will be interesting (for me anyway) to see how he deals with this. I'm not so sure having a customer without all the necessary tools to set the tension and the protrusion depth of the pin is such a great idea. I forsee doing a lot of send in of the Drifter before he comes to terms with the drifter's just doesn't lend itself to a "BF Kit" for the masses.

I just got mine in yesterday, and was also wondering how he was gonna tackle this one. The 3.1 was a no brainer, but this one, I'm not so sure. I mean I can see it being done but I still wanna see how he does it on a mass scale. I'm just about to send mine in, screw it, I'm not a patient guy anyway lol..

Hellfire makes some amazing stuff but if you enjoy more than 1/3 of the air that the stumpy provide or even all the air the Thump provides Hellfire is not going to be a great atty for you; I'm in the same boat.. For me the benchmark is the Narda; if it has even slightly less air than the Narda it's useless to me. Opinions vary widely on this topic and I will always try to cater to my clientele with attys that don't necessarily suit my particular vape style.

For those of you who have the drifter have you vape it yet? How is the flavor? Trying to get one. He said his site will be stocked this weekend.
My honest opinion, it's good, not awesome. But hey, most rarely is these days lol. It's a nice vape though, I didn't like it as much with my first build but I just rebuilt it and it's much better. I personally like the hobo 3.1 much better for flavor. Plus it's loud like a whistle even when trying to be quiet. And it's hard to drip through the drip tip since the center post is so close to the drip tip, and with taking the cap on and off to redrip makes the cap super loose and over time it will push juice onto your mod. Overall I'm not bummed I got it, but for me if I wasn't planning on getting it BF then I might consider selling it. And I don't sell any of my hobos.

Yep, I love the 3.1 too, it's soooo good, like Stumpy good for my style of vaping. I just threw a twisted SS single coil build in mine this morning & it's rocking my world, no clue why he discontinued it. We need a Catfish designed atty, something made just for us bottom feeders. I'll be waiting for that doc!
