Tom, have you considered doing a replacement top cap with a stumpy sized chuff opening....sorta a replacement for the huge chuff cap that's supplied with the Maker? Thinking that way one could still use existing 510 if you wanted to use a different tip. Also would eliminate having to return existing attys for modification. As far as material....ultem would be pretty cool

After watching sloths video I had a revelation. What about a Stumpy chuff tip sized bore in the top of a maker? I'm with sloth on the maker, l like too much flow for the 510 but no so much that I need the huge chuff cap of the maker. The Stumpy chuff IMO is a perfect mid point. Who is in?
I'm in.

In....until I realized you were only doing it with the SS versions. Not sure what's on the carbon fiber versions but I think it's a wrap so opening the top cap with an end mill might damage the finish....boo.

The one other thing you/we could do is get a custom 510 DT with a wider bore than normal. I actually have a DT I had made I found I like but it is too tall & in no way matches or contrast with the mod I have the maker on. Headed to work but when I get a chance I'll pm you the guys info. He will pretty much make whatever you want.

Not judging.... A few people have helped me out along the way is all. If you want to send me one of your spare screws I will figure what you need. I would bet what you would want would be an m3 low head cap screw. Probably 3mm or 4mm in length.
I didn't get that pp invoice today.. Did you contact Chad about it?
