Tamer...I don't really know, it would be impossible to guess...but I would chance it if I had no other resource. Personally I like buying directly from well known battery distributors who have passed the test of time, by members here.

Not sure if you follow Mooch on Facebook or ECF, but he recently posted about the very very high number of counterfeit HG2s circulating in the market.

From his analysis, it appears that the counterfeits are snuck in early at the source, and many reputable vendors have received them.

Apparently many vendors are doing clearance sales to flush out their stocks. So that's smth to keep in mind.

The black stumpy v1 isn't happening. Harry pulled the plug after he got an order for 50 of the ones slated for coating. With only 40 left it wasnt worth the aggravation of taking them all apart, having them coated and then re-assembling them. We are working together on the Stumpy 2 together and I'm pushing for a few colors right after the initial release.

Not sure of ecig but I know for a fact they are at rdt vapor .com. I buy all my batteries there and rewrap them alot and they are allways authentic and one of the cheapest places to buy on top of that

To confuse the issue, the HG2's are being phased out for the new HG's that are approaching release. Many vendors are selling the 2's to clear out their stock for this reason as well. Illumn is an authorized seller, however. Not immune to counterfeit I suppose, but less likely.
