What mode do you run the 316L in on sxj? Ni, ti or put in a coefficient ? Also what kind of temp?
For those who use 316 SS on dna40 do you have to turn temp down vs nickel temps?

I've only been able to run 316L in power mode on a DNA40. TC is no bueno.

I'm running manual tcr mode. Set at .ooo92 at 33 joules temp set at 400. The coil is 3 pieces stainless 316L 28 gauge twisted together and wrapped around 2.5mm bit. .32 ohm single coil. It's flavorville. Kicks out some great vspor too

Thanks that's what I needed to know.
I've got some 430ss & I didn't have much luck with it using manual TCR. I have the coefficient chart so I know I had the correct values. I tried 25 & 27g but only one coil each. I had temp up pretty high(500) & not that many joules(22) & it was hitting temp too quick. Thought it might just be device but I'm pretty sure your using a Scudo too. Got some 316 I'm about to try though. But from what I've heard 430 is better for TC. Maybe I'll get a chance to play around with it soon.

Are you locking your resistance and ambiance temp? That would cause problems. I'm using my only top fed mod for the ss wire. The scudo doesn't have the programing in it for ss wire yet.

The first 10 LBCs are ready to ship minus the inlay being installed. Transfer tape is supposed to be here tomorrow to facilitate such. I just couldn't bring myself to superglue it.
Profiles 1 and 2 are 316, 3 and 4 are NiFe30, 5 and 6 are titanium, 7 and 8 are up to you.

All charged, all programmed

You will see the tolerances on this thing when you get it... Part of what took so long is all the parts were spect to a variance no greater than .05mm. Most places wouldn't even touch my prints as soon as they saw the spec. The carbon guy is still having night terrors.... The body is machined so precisely if I used superglue there would be a .2mm recess at the inlay. That's how it is on my red one just because I could wait any longer. My second one will be correct.

For reference a sheet of 20lb printer paper is .1mm thick.

The first ten should definitely go out Thursday. The second ten Friday or Saturday.

Really nice Tom!! Gonna be worth the wait
So glad you chose to produce a product that exemplifies quality and planning. Shows what can be done when a modder has the knowledge and patience to produce a product they can truly be proud of ;)
