Sorry to hear about legend , just over 2 years ago I had to put my best friend down and it was so hard to do we stopped and got him a big Mac meal and to him to the vet and as we said our good byes he was in a great mood, he hates all men other than me and especially the vet but this time he took right off with him like he knew his suffering was about to end and at that moment I knew I was making the right decision. I miss him everyday but at least his suffering is over . Best wishes Tom at least we had the many great years with our furry friends that had a huge positive influence on our lives. Be easy legend.

Tom, Legend is certainly a big part of your life. I know through our conversations how much he means to you. I certainly hope he can have a full recovery :)

Your life is full of fun isn't it.....no it really is :thumb:
Enjoy these days with your son! You'll both be richer for it :)
You have a tremendous responsibility being his primary parent but just think how much better it is that you're not the one that only gets to see him on the weekends;)

Oh, it is also great to see Men step up to the role of parenting responsibly. I raised my daughter alone for 8 years, dating was near impossible. I met my my wonderful wife at a tumbling class that our daughters were both in. I had all but given up finding a Lady to be my life partner, but the Lord had other plans. Our kids are now teens & we are still in love.

I'm pulling for Legend and you Tom... I see you named the Chocolate after my 1st wife :w00t:
Don't let him here you refer to him as a lab. He is a very hyper red nose pit, never had his ears done as he was a rescue of sorts and he was a year old when I got him, I could have had them done but it would have been very hard on him. Badger was actually named Prince when I got him but he was an ignored outdoor dog that was as wild as they come when he arrived. The "Badger don't give F%#{" video on YouTube captures his personality to a T. Hang anything from a chain at about 6 feet and it will be ripped to shreds in minutes. For the last 4 years he has gotten 2 tires for Christmas and shredded both by June every year. If I can figure out how to post a video I will. This dog lives to shred anything.

Thank you for the canine sympathies, it's greatly appreciated.

Unrelated video; had to share.

Ah, good Canadian lad, this. Maritimer, by the sound of his accent (he says he'll "'drawer' yer name outtada bin" for a contest on one vid). They take their 'buddaydahs' right serious round there, they does.
