Black friday lbc quistion chowder. Are these ones going to fit the bfx 8.5 ml bottles. I have been using them in another mod and love these bottles
To make them fit I have to open up the bottle chamber and that will remove the Anno leaving exposed areas inside the body. I can do it but it will look funny with the door off.

Still one of my favorite conversions... takes longer than a lot of them but it just seems like it's very much worth the aggravation. Always takes me back to the Derringer v1.1 and Marquis clone mayhem, I didn't sleep for an entire week.

PROJECT DNA75
Well; I went and made a dna75 squonker prototype that I'm mostly happy with. I'm going to wire and plate it tonight and give it a spin.
Specs so far:
Dna75
Full size squonk bottle
Will accept the silicone 10ml sunbox bottle
Same 510 as the LBC final edition
Max amps custom 1850 mah/100c battery (that means 185amps at 3.7v)(no battery sag even at 75watts)
Should have 2/3s of the life of the LBC and a much smaller package
Massive squonk hole
Carbon fiber for days
Approximately 40mm wide x 30mm deep and 90mm tall. Think e8 or Reo grand sized but 5-6mm deeper.
After testing it will need to go see Harry to be prettied up and rounded out if the performance and useability are there; if not back to the mill.
In comparison the LBC is 52.5 x 25 x 100mm.
I hope to have pics up tomorrow.

Hey Tom, you ever consider offering colored delrin instead of carbon fiber? Any cons to that?
Part of the reason I use carbon fiber it it's strength. I can use 1/16" carbon fiber where 2mm aluminum would be needed or 3mm wood or delrin. I do want to do a blue delrin mod and possibly a ultem mod. Now ultem in 2mm is pretty strong stuff but isn't very pretty as an accent piece.
Just an FYI for you Tom as I watch my buckeyes take on xichigan, cleaning , filling and general maintenance on my squonkers the lbc is by far the best looking feeling and total quality but still #2 in my book the xl is such a beast can handle any build , juice and all out abuse and just keeps getting better everytime I use it and till this day the only squonker that can literally get every last drip of liquid out the bottle. Thanks my brotha the xl will always be in my collection, they will have to pry it from my cold dead hands.
