What ever happened to the Stumpy V2?

I thought it was supposed to come out a while back.....
In a word' Fidget Spinners happened. Google "The Thraxx". Harry is the primary force behind it and it has diverted his focus.

I have two mods that have crapped out and trying find wither a way to repair them or to contact the modders for repair. They are a sunbox kompakt ( flashed low battery regardless of what bettery i use including brand new ones) and a svampio ( totally dead - wont even power on) - anyone have any ideas?
If you want to have the Sunbox fixed under warranty track down Josh Erickson on FB. He will also handle the Svampio I would bet but plan on sending him a new board for it. IMO it sounds like a ground issue on the Sunbox and a fried board on the Svap. I don't fix Italian mods, not even my own when I had them. Every Italian mod that I have had seemed like wiring was an afterthought, I don't work that way.

Sadly, both these issues, respectively, are all too frequent with these mods. I've had both. The Svap darn near set itself ablaze right in front of me. The SB issue is at least more addressable with a 'permanent' fix.

I'm eyeing up your junior mod, Tom, BTW - just trying to source a CDN bat vendor (I've had a few issues trying to import them in the past).

I will have batteries very soon if that's an issue.

To this day I haven't seen a permanent fix for the weak ground issue on a sunbox. I have a pair of e8 basket cases. The issue is that there is no provision to ground the board effectively. I found a way to ground the Atty to my satisfaction but not so much on the board itself. Once the FDA has its fun I will take the time to figure it out. I'm thinking a dna60 with a USB and bulletproof connections will be a great mod. Until then it's collecting dust.

As to the next run of LBC jrs it looks like I will have to do one more run of dna75 classics or shut down for 5 weeks as the 75c is on backorder. Also it never dawned on me that anyone would prefer the older dna75 when I made the announcement for the 75c on the next run. I'm not sure exactly how I'm going to do the subsequent runs. Not to mention the possibility of a dna200s/250 "c" version. I'm thinking the lbc250C could be awesome.

Yeah, I've had issues with customs and batteries before. You just never know what will twist their knickers. Sooo... I'm trying to find a good battery from within the country. There is one source, but it's a 15A version (and pricey - $23 each).

I had two e8's do this. One, I traded forward - I was upfront about the issue, and he a) got a deal, and b) said he knew how to fix it (even showed me a vid of it working later). The second one went back to Italy for spa time and came back working. Truth be told, for all I really know, both might have been board swaps.

lbc250c??? Oh, see, now you gone and done it.

I still have about 40-45 bodies and as long as the new board fits I will just need to make new bezels and smaller buttons and we are back in business.

What's really cool about this material is you can mold it however you like. More rounded? Hand sand it... more square? Block sand it. Want it piano black and gloss sand it to 2k and give it a light buff. Rough and ready or shiny it's up to you.

These are finished to 500 grit; you can go to a full polish if that excites you.

The next 10 are wired and finished, they just need their boards installed and plates installed.
This material sounds and looks Great - anxious to have it in my hands - I really like delrin my 3 dead in the water e8 SB are all delrin. Love the light weight - however from your previous posts sounds like this new material will be a winner. The quality of your LBC is outstanding been using it everyday all day since I obtained it. Hopefully the postman will be making my day soon. Thanks Tom Mooch had very positive words for i joy 20700 and even said that the B's are a good choice overall

Holy cow Tom, they look great. I'm so excited. Big learning curve for me though, never used a regulated mod, but excited to give it a go.
I'm pretty sure the dna75 will be an easy switch. Some folks (namely Me) had problems staying under the 6.2volt output cap' I wouldn't imagine that will be an issue for you. The dna75 board is built on the same platform as the dna200s and 250 which is much more heavy duty than the small boards (dna40, dna60) and in my rarely humble opinion will last a lot longer and stand up to more abuse. Even the switches are much more durable. Out of over 100 LBC200s I have changed 4 boards, imo that's pretty good odds. I foresee the 75 holding up as well or better. I have a pair of Dna75C boards that I will be trying out after the Jrs and 3 LBC200s ship. We'll see how the C stands up to abuse, I'm not a super high power vaper but I do go through 20ml+ daily at 50w =/- 3 watts

Lol... batteries are scheduled for arrival Monday.

You paid first so yours goes out first. Do you want the black One?

What, no orange? Heh.... I'm super excited for the Jr. as you can tell. I hope the batteries don't end up stuck in customs. I've heard some horror stories.
