I saw Grimm Green's review for what it's worth. Looks like a Cam-M with a little refinement and anodizing. IMO it's worth the price but not much more, my point: it looks solid but if you are looking for this format or similar I would be more likely to talk to Corey about one of his Releaux shaped duallys or the inline version. Personally being the 528 dually and triple is being marketed towards the big power guys (100w plus) and based on the size and materials of the contacts I foresee some melting issues but maybe that's just me. I do like to overbuild electrically. I would love to see some thermal imaging pics of the 528 mods compared to the Cam-M while pushing 50+ amps. For those looking for a mech that go days without changing batteries at 30-50 watts I see the 528 being a solid choice. I will say in looking back I should have done something similar to the 528s for my bottom battery contacts. Random thoughts....
I will say as to the 528 Squonkers what really has my attention and what got me looking into them was the actual bottle. Taller, 10ml, looks to be 17-18mm wide, plastic not silicone, and would retrofit into both the LBC and the LBC Jr with a proper cap. This would make the jr an 18hr @40w mod and the LBC 200 a 12-14hr @ 40-45w mod. And yes I do like plastic much better than silicone for squonk purposes.
That was very informative. I'd say now that we are aware of its possible shortcomings, and given its price point, go for it.
